This is an extremely good article -- I can't believe it was on BR, but even the dunghill can turn up a diamond sometimes. Thank you for sharing.

    Drunk Harden PG though.

Also, BR isn't nearly as bad as they were before. Actually hired some quality writers.

Let me be honest here. Last season vs Portland, Matthews' great defense had given Harden a lot of fit. This first round, it was Mavericks. Aminu was the best one to have defended Harden.

This is a really subpar article. Gamescore is going to go up with higher usage. Of course it's gone up since he's come to Houston. If you want to use Hollinger stats, Harden's playoff PER before this year was lower than in OKC.

We shouldn't try to pretend that Harden didn't play bad in the playoffs the last 2 years. We should just be happy he's playing well now.

"BR is garbage" is outdated group-think. It's about as garbage as ESPN, SI, and all other "pop" sports sites. every now and then they produce a good read.

My favorite point in the article is one most Houston fans know well: "However, those made-shots-become-made-free-throws add up in the box score. An extra four trips to the line can mean going 4-of-10 from the field (40 percent shooting) instead of going 8-of-14 (57 percent shooting)."

It's not up to James whether he goes 4-10 or 8-14. It's up to the defender. If he fouls, then it's 4-10. If he doesn't, it's 8-14. Either way, in this scenario, James has gotten by his man and into the paint 8 times. It's the most desirable and important skill in the NBA today.
