Houston doesn't have to get Boozer in a Scola trade. 3-way...

    Okur / Anderson / Dorsey / Yoa?
    Landry / Hayes / Cook
    Ariza / Buddinger
    Brewer / TMac
    Brooks / Lowry

More balanced roster than what we have now. And we still have TMac to trade and add talent.

I'd prefer to wait until 2010 and see what we can pick up in the FA market or in Sign and trades

No thanks. Brewer means less PT for White and Budinger. Andersen looks a lot like Okur too.

Just got this tweet from the guy who started the whole Rox, Jazz and Bulls trade junk....

SportsUnplugged Bulls are lost on the radar when talks are surrounding Boozer coming to the 773. It seems Jazz wants Scola at this checkpoint

Its only a tweet so take it for whats its worth...

Perfect irony. It's like Kramer's story that he sold to J. Peterman about returning Bob Sacamano's pants.

How is Boozer an upgrade over Scola exactly? Give Scola the touches and opportunities that Boozer has and he'll probably produce nearly the same points and rebs. More importantly Scola plays for the team and lays it out on the court. Sure they're both defenseless but at least Scola tries. You can definitely be sure Scola won't sit out 2-4 months because of a pinky injury

Boozer > Scola. I say bring him on. People need to stop falling in love with players and go for what makes the team better. Im a Rocket's fan not an individual player fan.

White and Budinger are end-of-the-bench guys for this year, and probably next year, too. If White even makes the team. Giving them meaningful minutes is not a major team goal.

I'm glad to see that, by page 5, you guys are realizing the original post isn't about Scola for Boozer; more like, what would Miami give us so THEY get Boozer.

Scola is going to have a great year this year with the ball movement and uptempo game we will be playing.

    No Boozer.

A Boozer Yao combo would be just sick. Two post players that can get theirs anytime they want + Boozer's rebounding. Love Scola and what he brings to the team but sorry if we could sign Carlos to a long term deal I'd do it and never look back. :D

If we got a straight up Boozer for Scola deal somehow, it would be hard to say no to that. If Yao and TMac were healthy and we got that trade offered to us, Coach Adelman would be calling the Jeweler on Nov 3 to get sized for his championship ring in advance of the season.

I don't like Okur as a guy,and he is a whiner, flopper too,but the trade benefits us talent wise. Brewer can replace Battier. I would miss Luis, but we would be pretty good.
