No, you just seem quite negative about kids. This bothers me because you are a teacher. Of course I do not know how you handle your classroom or your students but with the attitude you present on here, I worry that it is not very positive. I personally would not want my kids in that type of atmosphere. Do you disagree that you come across as someone that does not like kids? Do you disagree that you constantly b**** about anything that has to do with the responsibilities of parents? I feel quite confident that I could go back through previous threads to find plenty of support for my argument. I'm going to edit my previous post due to it being inappropriate. I would really like to hear your responses and know why you have such a disdain for kids.
I think the only problem was that the bus driver should have delivered a more severe beating to those punk kids. Hopefully, they'll get sodomized in a juvenile detention center and learn their lesson.
Don't worry, I'm not a teacher. I should of corrected that eariler but forgot about it. My wife taught high school for eight years. In other threads, I wasn't bashing kids as much as defending teachers. People don't understand that though, especially when it's their kids. They become blinded. I disdain the blindness and those parents, not the kids.
Some of these kids just need a good a$$ kicking. After the bus driver gets slugged, he should have laid a beat down on that kid. Even afterwards, the kids said "You're Going to Jail" as if they did nothing at all wrong. I almost did the same thing yesterday. We were playing basketball and a few 15-17 year old punk kids were playing b/c we needed 10 for full court. I get a clean block on this kid and he gets up near me and starts yelling foul and that I was an a$$hole and that he should beat my a$$. I look at him and tell him if he gets any closer to me we could step outside and I'd beat his a$$. He realized i was serious and just talked under his breath, but it shows some people feel there are no consequences for their actions and that someone will bail them out. I'm 28, and i'm sure I could get in trouble for it, but it would've been fun to beat that kid to the floor.
This is the number of lexington Kentucky School incidents that make it to the Attorney's office: http://www.lexingtonprosecutor.com/total.htm
I trust that when you bought your house you located close to the local nutfarm, so society saves gas when you are hauled over there in your nice white jacket.
Here's an unedited version of the video. LINK That punk ass kid dropped the mother f-bomb on the driver. I don't blame that old b*stard. Just watching that gets me riled up.
In my state the public school teachers use a brand of glue commonly used in schools to refer to certain kids among themselves. School kids don't know about it, most teachers in private schools are usually surprised.
Whenever anyone asks me to watch their children, I tell them I refuse unless both the children and I know that I reserve the right to corporal punishment at my own discretion...had these kids been bound to the similar social contract that many of us did growing up in Texas public schools, I doubt this sort of thing would have happened. Blame it on the lawyers.
Well, from the video, the bus driver was out of line. Of course, the video does not seem to give the entire story (we don't see what it was that caused the driver to melt down) and they even blur the truth a little (the reporter states that the driver grabs the kid by the "throat" when he only grabs him by the back of the neck) to make one side look bad. Even still, the driver shouldn't have struck the kids before they struck him. My guess is that he's just from the Old School, where children actually respected their elders. And the end where the snotty kid says "you're going to jail" just goes to show the mentality these little bastards have these days. Since they're minors, they're pretty much untouchable and they know it. Some even use that to run adults when it should be the other way around.
Or blame it on the parents who can't control their kids. It's not up to the schools to do the parents' jobs.
Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of training do school bus drivers get in regard to discipline? I'm waiting for this to get worked into a Simpsons' episode with Otto laying the beat down on Nelson.
