Yup! Thought the movie was hilarious and when I saw that scene, I immediately thought of G-****. (That's how the cool Euro's say his name... *ahem*... if the bad word filter doesn't catch it!). ------------------ "I had mine chewed off by a boss one time." -- Behad leaves us wondering if he gets hazard pay...
Picking up on Boylan's comments: think about all the #1 picks wasted on supposed "talent." Just in this draft alone we are receiving #1 picks for Don Maclean and Mirsad Turkcan, right? If those picks convert to Steven Hunter and Terrance Morris, we make out like bandits!! Keep picks and keep the influx of young talent coming. Don't swap 'em for so-called experienced players. There has to be a reason that someone is letting them go. Sure there are a few exceptions but those are the exceptions. ------------------ "How far you go in life depends on you being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak. Because someday you will have been all of these."
I agree with this assessment, however, there is another issue, living in foreign surroundings and becomming accustomed to life in the big city. Some foreign players are able to develop and we are left with nothing if they decide to bolt. Take a look at the Comets as an example. I would prefer trading Walt and Cato and letting Shandon, Hakeem, and Mo Taylor leave and build around Steve and somewhat Cuttino (his game must mature). We will not win a Championship with the team in its existing state due to Shaq's and Kobe's development. It is best to develop a team over the next 2 years with chemistry to challenge the Lakers and possibly go after Tim Duncan. Houston is much better San Antonio, Mexico. ------------------
