You have got to be kidding me.. Cat for Murphy and Boykins?? I'm sorry but there's no way I'd trade for Boykins, he's having a good year.. but really.. the height factors in a pretty big. And we have EG and MoT at pf now, we're gonna get Murphy and exactly how are we going to fit in 3 pfs into the rotation? EG and MoT suit our purposes just fine. EG has some pretty nice help D and rebounding skillz and MoT is a good scoring threat off the bench. Don't need Murphy.

be prepared to get blown away.
    ......

Mobes is a great player. He is definetly a 20pt per game player!
You dont think he could score 20pt against any West Playoffs team?!!!!!

*Finished second in voting to Phoenix's Rodney Rogers for the 1999-2000 NBA Sixth Man Award in his second year

*Led all NBA reserves in scoring with a 15.8 points per game average during the 1999-2000 season, holding the distinction of being the only reserve to rank second on his team in scoring

    CAREER AVERAGES
    1999-00 15.8ppg
    2000-01 19.5ppg
    2001-02 21.7ppg
    2002-03 18.1ppg

In my book, Mobes is a 20ppg player. the year i left out was his rookie year.
Mobes is a player...i hate the way people bash him so much on this board.

You're right. He might score 21 ppg. :)

Hey I am not hating Mobley. As I said, it's my opinion. I just think Mobley should pass more, shoot less for the team success. That's all.

    :)

Please stop to consider one factor. For the 45 win team, Cuttino Mobley put up more shots per minute than any Rocket except Colson and Langhi - .404. This translates to just under 17 FGA's/game for his current 42 mpg average.

For the record, Cuttino is worth much, much more than Boykins and Murphy (this thread is ridiculous), but in order for him to score 20 ppg, he needs too many shots.

His shots come for 1on1 plays instead of weakside screens. His current style is counterproductive to a team struggling with ball movement...although I will admit that he has been better lately. IMHO, Cuttino can be just as valuable as 16 ppg player who plays within himself.

And why would the Ws want Mobes? they already have a young sg named Jason Richardson.

That trade would do nothing for us anyway. Create a logjam at the pf position again, and leave glaring mismatches at the guard positions.

Mobes for Jiri Welsh and Murphy would be cool, but again, why would the Ws do it? And I doubt the Rox would either.
