    Um, no you didnt.

I laugh at all the sarcasm threads. Not because they are incredibly funny, but because all of the people that dont understand the situation and actually think the poster is being serious. Of course, that COULD be the intention for the thread, but I'll pretend they are just playing straight sarcasm.

1)Magic were the 2 seed when he got there

2)Nelson led them there, rafer just filled a void

3)Their team scoring, 3pt. %, winning percenage, fg %, assist/turnover % all went down in their last 29 games with him.

    4)Rockets went 21-8 without him

5)Magic are in the EAST, where the bottom 3 seeds are all around .500

6)Rockets scoring went up, and assists/game stayed about the same without him

7)AB owned Steve Blake. Rafer Alston is basically a clone of Steve Blake.

8)We got Lowry, a younger player with more upside then Rafer will ever have

9)Rafer was going to kill our chemisty bc he know AB was going to be the starter of this team

10)Ill let everyone else fill this one in.

So tell me again, Cheetah, what did Rafer do that leads you to believe that this team is better with him. Or let me know what makes the Magic better with him.

I noticed this too and could not figure out any good reason for this to happen. I'm really starting to wonder if the coaching staff or any of the players ever try even a little to get Ron under control. There is no way in hell a SG (who should probably be at SF due to his size and lack of quickness) who is an average ball handler is bringing the ball up the court when the PG is not being pressured by the defense.

I agree it happens more when Lowry is on the court. I actually thought Lowry would help settle Ron down more than any of the other players but the opposite seems to have happened.

2 TO's negate the steals or more so.

He was a hole in the roster in the first game. You never heard his name the entire time.

The Rafer floater just reared its ugly head, but iguodala misses both free throws at the other end!

Thanks, Orlando! We love you for taking Rafer off our hands. Orlando loses, while Rafer takes 15 shots and misses almost 70%.

I talked to good friend of mine who has center court seats for the Majic and I told him late in the game Rafer is not going to finish and shoot that ugly floater and miss at a crucial point.

Late in the series the Sixers will refuse to hold him and double off him to take away Dwight in the post. I'm glad so Rafer doing what he's done to us (the worst PG finisher in the league)

I thought it was T-Mac not running the offense correctly. But both he and Alston were absent in the game against the Mavericks and Bulls.

    Hmm.....

Not really. The fact is Rafer is a solid point guard, but no one on the team other the Dwight Howard was actually making their shots fall. The Magic are a team with a great center but streaky in every other position. And when the other players are streaky, you cut Rafer's function in half because he is best as a facilitator and defender.

Just like Orlando when Shaq and Hardaway were the stars, they won't be able to win unless they get more depth in other positions.

Anyone can have a great game here and there, even Rafer did occasionally. I will be impressed when AB starts putting up those numbers on a more consistent basis, and hopefully he will.

What's the point of this thread? We're all fans...we're all happy.

How about we just enjoy it and save the "I told you so's" until the playoffs are over.
