Haye is a fraud. All that talk and this is outcome. Sure glad I went with my gut and put my money on Wlad via decision.
I have never in my life heard an athlete make excuses and blame an injury after an event like Haye just did. That was freaking weak. I don't care if it is all true and that's why he lost, that's just not a sporting way to talk after a loss. He just comes off as a soft chump who was looking to collect a big payday and save face a little bit. Wouldn't have been the wise move, but I wish Wlad woulda taken the necessary risks to knock him on his ass legitimately. Seriously though, TMac thought the excuses in that interview were weak. Christiano Ronaldo was ashamed by the flops Haye took in that fight. Jay Cutler would have toughed it out more than Haye did. Just weak!
He's not a fraud, but he certainly isn't as reckless and demented as he portrayed himself to be. Klitschko's jab kept haye at bay. Haye looked like his entire strategy was geared toward not getting knocked out, and when Klitsch saw that he went into robo mode. That was the fight in a nutshell. The last round was the only round where haye got wlad to engage.
What already answered that. There are few if any elite heavy weight fighters around anymore. Doesn't make Haye a Fraud.
I didn't mean it in a bad way. Wlad was just not trying to take chances to end it. Wlad does just enough to be comfortable, and since it often works why change. I think that wlad had a more exciting fight in him but haye couldn't bring it out.
Haye comes off looking like a total douche. There shouldn't be a rematch. He doesn't deserve it with that weak ass performance.
What's next for Wladimir and Vitali, no Heavyweight can beat them. Of course they're in great shape right now, but what's the deal beating scrubs the next few years? They proved they're the best heavyweights since Lewis left the business and there's no competition left.
Boring. Haye spent the entire night waiting for Wlad to give him a window, instead of trying to create one. Wlad didn't, because he's very smart, and that was what we saw. My amateurish opinion is that Haye should have tried for a body-punching war being smaller, and since he fights low, but he didn't have the stomach/commitment for it.
