I have been waiting for this fight for the past 3 years, nobody is a bigger fan of Dr Steelhammer than me. I have followed Wlad's career going way back to 1996 when he won the gold medal in Atlanta. David Gaye is a loudmouth punk, he basically talked his way into this fight. He only had 4 fights since moving up to the heavyweight division. Dr Steelhammer will teach Gaye a lesson in respect and knock the cornrows off of his head. For some of you who wants to watch MMAs, the boxing match will be shown on HBO @ 4:45Pm EST so I don't think it will clash with your MMAs.
Just as important is the fact that they've been fighting there for so long as well. Hayes will be screwed if it goes to the Judges.Really he'll be screwed as soon as he steps in the ring and realized his mouth won't be doing the punching for him. I think he's pissed off Steelhammer a bit too much and will pay the price tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong and Hayes pulls off the win by any means necessary but I doubt that will happen.
Guys, this fight is at 3:45PM & also replayed at 9:00PM, so you can watch both. Anyways, has anyone seen the HBO Face Off? Man, talk about hyping a fight! This was like a scene from a movie. This did it for me. Classic Good vs Bad, Cocky vs Humble, ect. ect. matcup. I truly want to see this fight. Biggest heavyweight fight in a long time. <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-lDZhnxAwS0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Big MMA fan but let's not pretend those gifs are what MMA is these days. These are what 90% of the fights end up being.
I did on the ko inside 7. That's his only chance though. Step left on his jab and hit him with that overhand right. He has no chance fighting him to a decision and he knows it.
Probably 8 or 9 times. That's not saying much though since I watch as much boxing as I can. I have people send me grainy dvds from house shows.
You haven't been watching MMA recently. FWIW, a grappling war is just as much entertainment as a stand up war, for me anways. but this is what seperates true MMA fans from fans of violence
I don't know anything about boxing, but I have a question. Are the Klitschkos ever going to fight eachother? Who is considered the greater boxer?
Supposedly their mom made them promise never to fight each other. Probably be a boring fight anyway, I can't see them trying to take each others heads off.
I grew up in Germany watching Tyson, Prince Naseem and the Klitschkos I think the Klitschko brothers are the last true breed of boxing, I don't see anyone stepping up it's all about the MMA right now
