A Margarito win would be a huge, huge upset; otherwise, just excellent maneuvering, once again, from Pacquiao's management team in getting him a big name, recently reeling off a horrid defeat: Hatton, Cotto.

150 to 144, not as big of a difference in weight.

that's what i heard on 24x7, i just find it hard to believe there will be a 14 point gain/loss in 24 hours time.

This happens all the time in mma/boxing. Fighters will put back on the water weight that they cut to make weight.

I don't. It looked like margarito cut a lot of weight. Could hurt his cardio but he is gonna have a massive size advantage. He probably got on an IV the second he left the weigh in. If margarito's cardio isnt hurt by the weight cut then it's gonna be a very very tough fight for pac. Size matters and these two looked like they are gonna be two weight classes apart going into the ring.

The official weigh in: Manny came in at 144 lbs and Margarito at 150.

Just watched the 24x7 finale and I am pumped for the fight. Roach said that if Mayweather doesn't step up to the plate and take a fight with them, that this would likely be Manny's last fight. He also said that he doesn't expect Floyd to take the fight, because he's afraid to lose. I really hope they somehow get it worked out, but I'm not optimistic.

Mayweather's praying that Manny slips up tonight, because he'll use the L to justify his avoiding the super fight.
