Amir Khan has no one to blame but himself, Khan was constantly on his bicycle the entire fight. You can't run the whole fight and expect to win in another fighters backyard. Are you serious He was also fighting dirty as well Khan may win the rematch( but to say he was robbed is flat out dumb). Because if it was Peterson who was the favorite and not Khan, i bet people would agree with the decision Peterson destroyed Khan's body badly in this fight Also looking at the punching stats from HBO( shows me that Peterson landed the more effective punches, along with being the agressor)
he lost by one point and lost two on questionable deductions which is why people are saying he was robbed.
I've only seen highlights, I thought the fight was quite unusual in its style. One guy was bending so damn low while the other guy was running around and putting headlocks. Is any of this legal in boxing, I'd never seen anything like it. Then again I don't watch much boxing....
Finally watched it. This sure wasn't pretty. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE referee. He doesn't get in between the fighters to separate them during clinches; I've seen Khan let go with Peterson pouncing at him afterwards too often that I understand why he was pushing. I had it 115-112 Khan without the penalties, 113-112, with, 112-112, not counting the first round KND. It wasn't a robbery. That ref practically fixed the fight.
how is it not robbery if you say the fight was fixed?. He did not outright beat him by a large margin but the point deductions were where the robbery was. I will give credit to Peterson he fought a great fight but the referee inserted him into the fight where he did not need to. I'm not too worried both parties want a rematch quickly and will probably happen soon enough. That should be a good fight.
I define robbery as in one fighter winning when it was clear the other one should have. I meant the fight was fixed because one guy was given too many favors to make it a fair fight. Khan wasn't robbed. It was close. But it was close because the ref practically fixed it.

Khan was in full control the 1st 2 rounds and it seemed like he was in for an easy fight but damn that left hook by garcia caught him flush and after that it was a wrap.
