    Whatever Floyd.
Not a PAC MAN jock rider, but Floyd has done everything to duck PAC.

Take the blinders off dude. Look how the fight was scored. Mayweather fought at Cotto's weight and still beat him with relative ease.

Floyd might as well accept the challenge to fight canelo alvarez. Two undefeated fighters should be a great promo if manny vs floyd doesn't happen.

Mayweather is taller and has a 5" reach advantage.

Not sure if you're talking about tonight's fight, but it wasn't close. I thought the scoring was spot on. To imply that he won that decision based on reputation is ridiculous.

And for the record, I'm a much bigger fan of Pac than I am of Floyd.

I think it may be more of Mayweather fans being blinded by his supposed greatness. Cotto fought a good fight tonight and I don't think the cards showed that. It was a lot closer than the 6 round split the cards were giving. All the stalls to the Manny-Floyd fight are on one end. Just be done with the excuses and fight the fight. Floyd points to his blood test, but the main roadblock is the money split; and it should be split evenly.

It was closer than the score suggested. "Relative ease" = bloody nose to you, melee on the ropes to you?

    loooooooooool

true enough but how many years have people been waiting for this damn fight?

there's nothing new to say... even after seeing Pac and Floyd size up each other's opponents.

right now all you assholes are just making Mayweather too rich fighting everyone but Pacquiao. dude is never going to get in the ring with Pac and risk his record when he can make millions ducking him.

and yes, I dont care how much of a Floyd homer anyone is... no one in the entire boxing world who is honest with himself thinks that Floyd doesn't have serious doubts about the certainty of beating Pac... even if Floyd does truly believe he is better he's a smart enough boxer to know that he's putting his legacy ON THE LINE if he ever steps into the ring. he's too much of a p***y to do that

I honestly dont think this fight is ever going to get done

Mayweather won the fight, but I think it was much closer than the cards reflected. Again, Mayweather took it without a doubt, but I disagree with the overall scoring of the fight.

It wasn't close because you marvel at the pitty pat flurries of floyd. Other than that floyd did virtually nothing to win the fight.

Those flurries that Floyd was throwing were not "picking" cotto part. They were basically nothing shots hitting the glove.

SAME ol' public jockying by Mayweather. His whole "giving the fans WHAT THEY want to see bit, then proceeding to blame things on Arum and drug tests to prevent it from happening.

Mayweather's keeps needing to use his undefeated record to its MAXIMUM money making effect. And it GOES WITHOUT SAYING - but a money hungry guy like Mayweather especially needs that financial incentive to motivate himself to think he has that edge.

Sure, the professional scorers have no clue what they are doing. A bloody nose means nothing. Cotto's whole face was bashed in at the end of the fight. And Mayweather clearly fought on the ropes as a strategy and he was still dodging everything.

I'm 100% sure he will not fight Canelo Alvarez. I see another long vacation for him after making tons of money on this fight.

I've always hated the excuse of a fighter fighting at someone else's weight to enforce the magnitude of the victory. That was Floyd's decision and there was no relative ease to the crown. It was a good fight and it was closer than the cards suggested.

Agreed. I heard a lot more people thinking Pac lost his last fight and it was definitely a lot closer.

Fighting with your back turn away from the score keeper is also a smart strategy. What they can't see they can't score for the other guy punching you.

Yeah, no. I would have LOVED to see Floyd get beat tonight. I was pulling for Cotto the entire fight. But in the end I scored it 117-111, just as 2 of the judges did. "Pitty pat" or not, he was consistently landing more clean shots and winnings those rounds.
