Take the drug test Manny and the fight will be on according to Mayweather.

You can say the same thing about manny vs marquez where marquez have trouble against floyd but kept up with manny. It's an even fight between the best offensive vs the best defensive fighters

All I said that the other is possible.

Obviously both are great fighters, if you think Pacquaio is going to run through Floyd then it's plausible that the other is true.

floyd don't want any part of Manny. he knows he'd get rocked by blinding hand speed.

mayweather's formula has been exposed, it is to "act" like you are pinpointing shots, with clean effective punching, when in reality all you are doing is moving around the ring fast and pitter-pattering your man. Then back up on the ropes and show your "stellar" defense, while you are getting hit.

Clearly Floyd doesnt want to do business with Arum according to that interview with Merchant, and im guessing neither does Arum. Manny needs to part way with Arum and get this mega fight happen.

This myth just has to go away, now. Manny's already OK-ed the drug test. The problem is that Mayweather doesn't want to split.

Oh cool, a boxing thread where everyone says the same things about Pac and Floyd that they've said 100 times before. Fresh.

Sure Cotto had some good punches but overall Mayweather is just too good for him. But then again, Pacquiao fans are too blinded to see the greatness of Money May.

It would be a great fight either way. Hopefully we get a chance before both are in their 40's. I thought the fight tonight should have been scored a little closer, but Mayweather definitely was on top. Both Manny and Floyd are unique fighters, and the fans deserve to see them fight in their prime.

Floyd stood in front, let him in, and carried him .....just banged it out with Cotto. Miguel acquitted himself well, but Floyd was selling the upcoming fight with Manny. He's that good.

The seeds of doubt are planted in the general public and now $$$$ will make Manny look foolish at a decent price.

Until it happens, and more time passes until then, all you have IS that same accumulated conjecture and speculative opinion.

Merchant asked the question plainly about the money split. Mayweather parried it with ease. If he really wants to fight Manny it should be an even split. I'm not sure there is anything that warrants Mayweather being paid more than Manny at this point. Just fight the damn fight.

    catchweight homes

Mayweather is a much smaller fighter than Cotto, Mayweather came into the ring around 153, Cotto probably came in at 170

This guy is full of ****. Manny would take the test and fight him for a 50/50 split but the chicken said no. The guy want Manny to make 30 or 40 and take the test so he's full of excuses. He's not going to fight Manny.

Exactly! It's like he's manipulating sactown with manny denying the drug test when in actuality they are already past that. It comes down to the money split where he want 60 - 40

the seed of doubt was the 2nd round of the mosley fight.

only a mayweather homer would maintain that he is still the same invisible fighter. He's not. He can be hit and he's getting hit often.

He's winning fights on reputation. I've seen many score cards with fighters with Mayweather's style get beat on the score card time and again against fighters like cotto.

mayweather is the cash cow. they really shouldn't even have judges at his fighters because unless it's pacman, nobody is going to win a decision against him.

No. Cotto hurt Mayweather. Mayweather has great defense and held Cotto off.
