Exactly. And when Mayweather was confronted with Shane Mosley fight, he gets even more defensive than he was blocking Marquez's punches.

Until Mayweather fights a real opponet without all of his advantages he is a paper champion.

So I guess you consider it cheating when someone commits a foul in basketball?

What was Marquez supposed to say? No. They gave him a 600 thousand dollar penalty which is chump change.

Mayweather got the fight exactly how he wanted it.

Here is why boxing is 2nd rate, they never give us the fights we want when we want them. Whether its lewis vs bowe or even now with Mayweather vs Sugar. Here is what I make of Mayweather even if I think he is a hell of a boxer.

He was suppose to fight the winner of coto v margurito, 2 bigger hard punching guys. He retires. Maguarito beat cotto and get smoked by Sugar. Again sugar is a guy that is big enough and fast enough to matchup. Cotto is gooing to fight pac man who is smaller than mayweather jr. I can guarantee if cotto wins, he will retire but if pacman wins he will fight him because pacman will have to come up a class and is a smaller man like jmm. My whole disgust is he won't fight Sugar while waiting on the other fight. Boxing is fraud and that's why its 2nd rate. Jones and Hopkins shouldve fought again, but they haggled over a stupid %. Calzaghe basically wated till the good fighter got old and now he's retired. Its a sham.

You're ridiculous. So you say everyone that's ever played any sport is a cheater? What a big insult to Mayweather, he cheats just like every single other person that's ever played sports.

Exactly. Mayweather is a hell of a boxer, nobody can deny that. But he is far far from being as great as his performances show. He fights hand picked opponents and when he dismantles them through cheating and size advantages he acts aas if he is the second coming of Ali.

This fight will be a heck of a lot better and it is free:
    Vitali Klitschko vs. Cristobal Arreola

Making weight is fundamental to boxing. That's why they have weight classes because weight is a HUGE advantage in boxing. And you act as if it was a small matter that Mayweather didn't even try to make weight.

My point is that it's ridiculous to call it cheating. I acknowledge that he was given an inherent advantage by coming in heavier than the other guy. It wasn't cheating because it was within the rules set out and agreed to by the two competitors in the boxing match. The rules of the contract were that if Mayweather came in above 144 he had to give Marquez more money. He didn't break a rule. The contract allowed for the two guys to fight as long as they were under 147 lbs, just that the payouts would be changed if Mayweather was above 144 lbs.

    It's about the $.

If you are a boxer and you know a couple bad losses could end your career you wouldn't fight those guys either. You don't fight the big name guys unless you have to. Financially, it makes more sense to keep the good record as long as you can and fight the big name fighter when you're old and washed up because people will watch it anyway.

It's called boxing not brawling and Floyd has pretty much mastered it.

Mayweather refused to be weighed tonight and I believe they said he was pushing 150lbs easy.

If you guys think Pac is too small for Mayweather then he should just fight Sugar... Sugar Mosley should give Mayweather all that he could handle...

Can someone link the clip to this board on Mosley calling out Mayweather after the fight?
