Most excellent fight! I'm a total MMA w****, but if boxing were to get back to these types of fights I would be pulled back in.

    Awesome show!

good stuff, Cotto is the better fighter, but Magarito is the smarter fighter, I was going for Cotto, my type of fighter, knows when to jab and hits HARD, but Magarito showed that he has some freaking stamina, and applaud him for that

I am pretty sure golden boy is not going to fight margarito. He never did want to fight him.

judging from watching this fight and comparing him to Cotto, yea

Cotto wouldve dominated if he didnt back out after each big shot he landed, he gave Magarito chances to back out, while Magarito cornered him and just keep punching away

If Cotto didn't back out and just stood and traded shots with Margarito, he would not have lasted 11 rounds. I thought Cotto had the right strategy, he just didn't have enough power to slow down Margarito.

I just never thought of Margarito as a smart fighter. He only fights one way. He is just one tough SOB.

The body shots took a toll on Cotto. They may not hurt when the adrenaline is running in the beginning rounds, but after round 7 you could tell they had done their damage.
