You do understand that the initial controversy was whether what Mayweather did was legal or not right? That was the uproar.

However, my example was simply to correlate the stupidity of your opponent when their minds aren't in the game/match. Is it your fault if you don't take advantage or what?

All of this BS was started by Ortiz, b/c the fight was going pretty damn well at that rate in terms of cleanliness.

We can both agree that the match didn't have to end that way, b/c Floyd was and is the better fighter. They don't need to do a rematch b/c Floyd would win anyways.

    Exactly.

At the end of the day, Mayweather may have won the fight fairly, but that doesnt take away from the fact that he's a complete b****.

Maybe it's just me, but if I were a fighter and I was participating in a fixed fight, I would do my best to make the fight seem like it was not fixed... you know to avoid getting caught n stuff.

The ref and the whole boxing organization is behind this to milk it as much as possible until the mayweather vs pac showdown. Kind of like rocky 3 i believe where he found out all his fights were fixed to keep his popularity up. There's always a david stern in every sports

that was one hell of a way to win a fight. i could argue that mayweathers shots were cheap but so was ortiz's headbutt. ortiz got careless and comfortable when he was trying to make peace with Mayweather... therefore leaving himself vulnerable and he got knocked the **** out because of that.

Pac-Man needs to stirr **** up. He needs to call out Mayweather for the controversial knock-out. They NEED to fight.

Weird ending, but one that was coming anyway -- you just don't pull a Zindane in the middle of a fight then expect the other guy to play nice. Mayweather was going to KO him in the next few rounds -- the difference in skill level was really surprising.

They said last night after the fight, Mayweather spent 10 minutes making excuses why he wouldn't fight Pac. It may never happen. And I think Mayweather is waiting for Pac to lose so he can retire for good and hope Manny's legend dies while Floyd keeps his perfect record.

FYI for casual boxing fans talking out of their asses, Pacquaio agree to the blood tests but Mayweather stay stalling, adding more and more stipulations. You guy don't know anything about boxing besides the surface.I bet you 90% of the Mayweather nuthuggers here have something in common with him (not the rich part if you know what I mean). They act like he's their rich uncle and they've got to stand up for him pridefully and Pac should be automatically hated. Grow the f up.

mayweather is beating ortiz anyway so your analogy is not really pertaining to this situation. It is more like your team is up 30 points and there was 3 seconds left and the opponent didnt know the clock started, should you be a punk and took the shot or let the clock run down?

Thank you! It's amazing how many people still say rubbish(they've heard from PBF) aboout Pacman "needing to agree" to the tests, when he's already agreed yet PBF is still stalling.
Double points on the part about his fans acting like he's their rich uncle. I've lost count of the number of idiots bringing up the fact that Mayweather is laughing all the way to the bank, as if he's their rich uncle or they're Ellerbe and they're getting a cut of that.

I agree. Floyd needs to stop with his stipulations.

But from the last report, Pac lowered the days to 14 days before the fight (it was originally 30 days, then 24 days). I think Pac should just get tested a day before. Then Floyd cant do anything but to fight him. It's just a simple blood draw, and both guys would have to do it.

I mean, what's really bad about getting tested the day before, or even the day of the fight?

Pacquaio thinks it would take too much out of them. He already agreed to do it right after the fight where it would be the same exact thing. What's so bad about that?

Have you ever gotten your blood drawn? If it's a prick on the finger okay but if it's a tube a lot of times my arm is sore or I feel a bit weak in the arm the blood was drawn.

Ortiz is a moron, anyone that really knows boxing knows he had no chance. Floyd is one of the most skilled and smart defensive fighters of all time he makes a living off being smarter than every person he fights. He's a counter puncher he wins off his opponents mistakes and too me that is a very impassive skill. This wasnt ortiz's first fight he was defending his belt and got caught with his hands down I'm a Floyd fan and even I wanted to see the fight go longer but in the end the only person to blame is victor, he knows the rules. Too those that think Floyd and manny won't fight, give me a break there both set to make more money than any prize fighter in the history of the sport it all about the money and always will be. You can hate on floyds antics outside the ring but bottom line is he's a great fighter who is bigger stronger and quicker than manny he's also a better technical fighter, sure manny could win but if u watched his last fight u can see that he has alot of openings to get rocked by a quicker opponent which floyd is mannys never fought anyone like meyweather and will in my opinion will pay dearly with his unorthodox fighting style he leaves himself open to be hit by counter punches and if any fighter will make him pay it's Floyd. If manny does win I will be hear paying my respect but mannys been beat Floyd hasn't so until I see that day I can't say that pacman is the better fighter.

Pac agreed to random style blood testing back in July.
