I bet Kelly Anne is kicking herself for speaking the truth in public. She has her standards and reputation to think about.
The Time Magazine MLK bust blunder was corrected within the hour of the mistaken tweet. Multiple apologies and retractions followed the incident, the reputable news organization held themselves accountable for their error. And boy did Trump and the right run with their fake news train- at the inauguration,at the CIA memorial, at the National Prayer breakfast, at the Black History Month speech, and still to this day on the propaganda programs and alt news sources (The same ones that peddle fake news for revenue) You are fake news, Conway!
If they had called it the Bowling Green Human Fund it would perfectly encapsulate the Costanza-level bullshit of this whole situation.
Thoughts and prayers to those affected... Remember when dumbasses on here routinely compared this administration to previous ones? Has there ever been such false equivalence. Where are our trump nuthuggers?
This is a women who said the White House press secretary was using "alternative facts" last week so I really don't believe anything that she says anymore. Reportedly, Trump loved that. I honestly think her job is too much for her and she's trying to organize all sorts of conflicting facts and talking points which she has to summon immediately to respond to seasoned journalists. Since this administration has chosen to have a war with the media, I liken it to soldiers being put in harm's way with faulty ammunition. If I were a Trump supporter, my non false-flag type of apology for this would be she merely mixed up the Boston bombing w/ the Bowling Green incident, the latter leading to the false equivalency that is supposed to justify the recent immigration ban. The Boston bombing is a direct justification for the ban. These confluence of ideas and motivations caused her to trail off w/ putting the wrong city before "massacre". And Kellyanne being educated and all, probably heard about the "Boston massacre" somewhere and made a colossal error. Lotta threads in ole' dudette's head. Her consistent tactic is to shift blame on the Obama presidency during these interviews so her correction was designed to do that as well. Like someone already mentioned, that explanation makes no sense. It's not a slip of the tongue to replace "terrorist" w/ "massacre." Now my explanation would at least paint Conway as being less capable of doing her job because of stress or something and the Trump administration could release a press statement saying some crap about Kellyanne having to raise a family and how she's the first female blah blah, and the unfair media blah blah blah. But to many of us it looks like she's a liar. And a bad one at that. As for what ipaman was referencing, Bannon lives for this ****. I heard those folks got smoked out of their holes on Reddit recently. Much like isis, they'll slink off to another part of the Internet and perpetuate these myths to poison this countries ideological divide. Nothing interesting about it. Conway has certainly showed to be more competent than this in the past but now she has to defend the indefensible.Must be hard to lie and deflect all day. And we all know how Donald has treated certain women behind the scenes before. If it looks like I'm bending over backwards to defend Kellyanne, I mean - look at her; girl needs a spa day.
Fox News to the rescue... you bunch of haters! http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...aqi-terrorists-calls-some-critics-haters.html
Meanwhile... Bowling Green recovers: http://miami.cbslocal.com/2017/02/04/never-remember-bowling-green-pokes-fun-at-massacre-that-wasnt/
Kellyanne Conway’s ‘Bowling Green massacre’ wasn’t a slip of the tongue. She’s said it before. "While discussing why President Obama halted refugees from Iraq in 2011, Conway explained on Jan. 29: “He did that because two Iraqi nationals came to this country, joined ISIS, traveled back to the Middle East to get trained and refine their terrorism skills and come back here, and were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre of taking innocent soldiers' lives away.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...y-1145am:homepage/story&utm_term=.ccac0c7db23
