Eagles would have to give up too much for the #1 or #2 pick. They must hope Foles returns to prior form and use the draft picks on plugging holes on D.

Mariota will be drafted by the Bucs or Titans and become the face of one of those teams.

Why's that? He could be a top 5 pick, so if the Texans got a chance to get him why wouldn't they? Honestly, what are the other options at this point? Mallet/Savage?

Philly would be trying to move up from the bottom of the draft... would take a helluva lot more than a 1st and a 3rd. They would probably have to trade their entire draft, along with a future pick or two.

That being said, if I'm the owner of the Eagles, I have to keep in mind that the Chip Kelly offense regressed this year, and there wasn't a huge drop-off in going to Sanchez... thus are you really expecting a huge gain to go to Marriota?

Yes, I think it would be a huge gain from Sanchez and Foles to Marriotta. That said, it would likely be way to much to give up unless the Bucs or t*** saw Foles as their long term answer at qb, plus getting multiple current and probably future pics from the Eagles.

I know I'm jumping the gun here but I want Ohio St. to win for the inevitable videos of Alabama fans freaking out.

Character matters with the Texans and sexual assault allegations are pretty much an instant disqualifier. I'm sure it won't even come up, someone will almost certainly reach on him.

If RG3 is made available, I think Chip Kelly should jump on that. RG3 needs a QB guru as a coach to maximize his abilities, and he's a perfect fit for a Kelly type system.

Agree with you. Problem is the Redskins won't dare risk RG3 reviving his career with the Eagles. If he's traded, it will be to a team outside their division.

You'd think but there seems to be a fair amount of movement within that division. It wouldn't be cheap.

In either case, RG3 would be a good fit with Kelly.

Very true - I guess I was more thinking if he was cut, but you're right. He still has another year on his contract, and it's almost certain someone would trade for him, so there's no way to see him going to Philly at this point.

This is my first time seeing Cardale Jones. IMO, Ohio State doesn't have a chance.

Well this year, we'll actually get to see if that is true.

Ohio State's QB showed up tonight to play school rather than play football. He explained that accurate passes are "POINTLESS"

You guys ragging on Mariota for being a system QB are hilarious. He runs the system he is in. He makes the plays that are asked of him. He has the throws and the intellect to run any system. He is the hardest worker on the team. He will adapt to whatever system he is put in.
