I think this game brings up several questions. Who did Winston bet on in this game? Who sells crab legs in Pasadena with lax security? Where is there a nearby party with semi-conscious semi-contenting females?
I know typically when teams give up large amounts of picks to move up in the draft, it almost never works. But is it possible this could be one time where it might...if Philly were to, say, give up a significant portion of their draft to get Mariotta? Putting him with Kelly should, theoretically, be pretty successful pretty fast. Philly has some significant defensive holes they need to deal with but they also have a qb problem. Foles was not having a particularly good season before he was injured and Sanchez is a free agent. Wouldn't this be a match made in heaven? Maybe Lovie Smith likes Foles and they could do him + a 1st and 3rd for the #1 pick.
Good news:This performance will hurt Winston's draft stock and maybe he could slide to the Texans/Texans could trade up? Thoughts?
If he slides to the Texans, he'll keep on sliding. There's no chance at all that Bob McNair could be sold on Winston. Zero.
