I'm not trying to win anything. You presented an alternative and I presented another. You gave your concerns about a Bowflex and I gave my rebuttal. Then, we went around in circles. End of story.

Don't buy the f*cking thing. I could give a sh*t. I just tried to present some non-biased info from an actual user of the product.

Yes, the thing costs too much if you don't have any money...lol. If money is your major concern, then don't even talk about buying a Bowflex cause it is too much. It's for people with money who don't believe in building muscle.

    :D

Yea...no refunds. We didn't roll back the odometer. Someone else did. I didn't know the car had been stolen. I told you not to buy it. LOL

Nah...I'm a salaried professional with too many expensive, useless pieces of exercise equipment that don't do a damn thing well or well at all. ;)

Hey all, just want to say thanks for the posts about the Bowflex. I really appreciate the information. Very informative thread!

To expand on this topic a bit, and something I probably should have mentioned in my initial post, this is something that both myself and my wife is going to use. So I wanted to get something that would work well for the both of us.

I personally love free weights and do believe to get "really big" that is the way to go, but I am thinking that a bowflex might be best to use for the BOTH of us, giving us multiple exercises with differential weights. I think our plan is more to gain decent muscle and be more toned.

If I had a lot of room in my house to have a dedicated weight room I might consider getting a set of free weights and such but it just does not seem practicle for my purposes in terms of space. Space is an issue. I already have a treadmill in this room and putting a Bowflex will fill it up.

I wanted to ask about the Bowflex because it seems like a nice alternative for both my wife and I. And I wanted to see if I could get some testimonials from people here that have used it to see their thoughts on ease of use, was it worth it etc.

Thanks again for the comments and if anyone else wants to chime in with their thoughts on the Bowflex I would appreciate it! :)
