There aren't many celebs from Houston who support the Rockets. Shannon Elizabeth was born in Houston, but she moved away as a little kid. The Quaid brothers, but they're movies have sucked lately, sorry, I didn't see the Rookie. Those are the only movie stars I can think of who were born here, but they don't seem like fans. Destiny's Child is always on the road. By the way, what is this whole "crackhead rap hip-hop culture" thing? I don't really listen to rap, but have you ever noticed that no famous rappers have died from over dosing? I guess since they only smoke weed. What's the deal with Rock stars, I swear if Scott Weiland goes back to rehab again. . .
what a ridiculous comment. even though you're not into the"crackhead" thing, you might be interested in athing called basketball. you obviously haven't seen any of the ads for "Like Mike"
Sup, y'all? I just caught "Like Mike" at Mills today. Worst acted movie I've seen in a long time, but it was cool seein all the NBAers. If you go just to see Stevie...don't. They show his dunk at the dunk contest, Bow Wow sittin beside him there watchin J-Rich's slam, and finally we see him during the credits (variety of outtakes). Him and Bow Wow were playin around. His one line was somethin like, "Hey I'm a good actor!" The movie's aight...a little funny a lot P.C....but nuttin wrong. I wish I hadn't had spent $4.50 on it though.
i want to be a famous actor, and then come back to houston and sit in the front row every game. that would be so sweet. dick vitale is always at tampa bay devil rays games. what is that about?
Heh, I wish I was a famous actor too. I could travel to NY when the Rockets play them and sit next to Spike Lee, then when he argues with the refs, I'd be complimenting them on a job well done.
I just saw something on MTV about Bow Wow today...They said that he was 4'8. Granted, this could have been an older taping, it did, however, mention the movie, so it could not have been too old.
