They can be as good or better in any given game but it's more of an anomaly than done with any regularity. As far as consistency goes, the Rockets are going to fold more often that not when the Lakers wouldn't. All the Lakers have to do is keep it close and then take it over in the fourth. And, it's going to work out for them more often than not because Harden can be taken out of it, Westbrook won't get it done, and the supporting cast sure as hell won't get it done in crunch time. Lebron and Davis are pretty damn reliable with the game on the line and, clearly, the Rockets aren't able to stop them versus them having an off game. And, then you got all the attention on Lebron and Davis...and a guy like Rondo goes off. It was Morris in the previous game. Pick your poison.

I'm not ashamed to admit they have better pieces than we have. It sucks but it is what it is.

pj, covington, and gordon are better than all of their role players. rondo is just having an uncharacteristic series.
