it's amazing lebron had any energy at the end of that game. had to play a lot of defense and did EVERYTHING on the offensive end. having to penetrate over and over to either get a shot or get your teammates a shot and still doing it at the end of the game, making steals and getting dunks, just amazing.

the Celtics sweat it out. LOL!

Bad execution by the Cavs when they were down 1. LBJ dumped the ball to wide open Ben Wallace in the paint for nothing. Ben Wallace had no guts to make a move and passed out to Pavlovic who dumped the ball back to James for a 3. That's the play of the game. LBJ's teammates suck.

they didn't have gibson, who is the only guy who can hit 3's for him. lebron had to do even more than normal. superhuman effort, but just didn't quite happen.

Wait, just look up a few posts back. I agreed KG is overrated and don't think the celtics deserve to win the championship.

I am just not a fan boy like you.

I hate Pierce. He's good, but man, something about him screams douche.

Yes he does. It's more than just this one game (or series). I think the Cavs should think about snagging Thibadeaux after the season is over. Mike Brown has not shown me any improvement as a coach over the last 2 seasons. He has hit his ceiling and it isn't high enough. He doesn't deserve all the blame but he just cannot coach a coherent offense when the other team tries hard on defense.

LeBron storms off the court bitterly while most of his teammates smile and congratulate the Celts.

In a game like this, Gibson could have made the difference. Sad but true.

That's almost by design (of plays). They do have players who can knock down shots.

You said that LeBron isn't clutch, which is ridiculous since his team leads the league in 4th quarter comebacks and has made some spectacular clutch plays and even legendary ones in his short career. If that makes me a fanboy, then that's your opinion.

That's because he's been on a sorry team his entire career and has been labeled a loser because of it. It's easy to see why he's the douchey combination of bitter and excited right now.

Celtics win. Woulda been a great comeback by LeBitch but he made some bad decisions around the minute mark. Missed a very crucial free throw also.

When Pierce was winning with Toine(back when I still acknowledged Antoine Walker's existence) early in his career, he whined a lot less and had a lot more positive enthusiasm. He has a much greater "**** the world" mentality now.

This is true. Lebron didn't need huge help, but he could've used ANY help down the stretch.

Not to take away from PP, who played a phenomenal game, but when Pierce gets the ball, Lebron is guarding him. When Lebron gets the ball, Pierce and 4 other guys cheat towards him. It was a monumental effort by Lebron to keep them in it.

And I didn't hate the Celtics until this game. All the cheerleading and constant chest pounding over insignificant plays plus the cheap shots (and getting away w/ them) makes me a Pistons fan next week.

Mike Brown needs to go, but we're stuck w/ him for awhile. Too bad Lebron makes him look better than he is. And the Cavs are stuck w/ many role players who are good at one thing or another. Unfortunately none of them include creating their own shot. This team has personnel who must win games on defense and grinding points...that's fine for teams w/ mid level talent still trying to turn a franchise around. But w/ a top 2 NBA player on the team it's a waste.

Great series and great players going at it. I was fairly nuetral and just enjoyed it. Pierce was happy and made the key plays to advance his team to the ECF in an epic game 7--I don't think he was being over the top or belittling to his opponent or anything.

Clev as a 4 seed had a chance to top over the 1 seed with couple minutes left, all you can ask. Boston was a 66 win team and was by far the best defensive team in the league this year, what Lebron did to them was impressive, even in defeat.

Brown could be fired, but if so it should be because his team only won 45 games. Yes they had injuries to role players and changes in personelle, but they had 75 games with the best player in the league, 73 games with their #2 player (a good season for him) and played in a bad conference. Low to mid 50Ws and a strong 3 seed should have been easy.

Well I don't blame him, he's frustrated. It has to be though playing with those teammates. They were better off with Hughes and Gooden, Wally and DeLonte played pretty good but Ben Wallace is just about useless.
