One qualification: The Cavs futility on offense might discourage them and cause their defense to slack. If that happens today, it will be a blowout. If the Celts smell any quit in the Cavs, they will pounce.

Losing Boobie Gibson really hurts the Cavs. Not to say there is anything special about Boobie Gibson, but Gibson just doesnt suck as bad as Pavlovic. Pavlovic is terrible.

The Cavs have no speed at all. Their backcourt can hardly take anybody off dribble. Their front court except LBJ and Varejao are also plodders. Mike Brown's offense only makes it harder for LBJ.

But the most funniest thing is the Celtics still have problems to take the Cavs out.

WTH is Mike Brown....a CHEERLEADER? Or a COACH? Its hard to tell most of the time believe me.

Who heard JVG on Perkins? OMG HAHAHA, i've never heard any other announcer say something like that, after he said that everybody followed him and agreed. I have a man crush on JVG!!!

So sad to see LeBron, arguably the league's best athlete, on the most unathletic team in the league. Cavs are so ugly to watch.

if pierce played 70% like this every game, celts wouldn't need 7 games to dispatch these lowly teams.

but where is ray allen? did he go fishing or something? this is a huge disappearing act by a star player.

it's so sad to see lebron going 1-on-5 every play. this is like tmac of orlando or kobe the past 3 years. dude needs to go to a better team.

as bad as 38 points is, the cavs would be right in this if their D was holding the celtics to their usual 38-40 a half. but with pierce hitting and too many fouls committed, the cavs are giving up too many points.

PP is playing like a monster. 26 points in the first half! I'm proud of him. This lineup where he and Posey play at the same time is very effective because it gives him a break from guarding LeBron. Unless the Cavs crumble, someone must step up in the 2nd half for them to finish the game.

Remember game 5 when the Celts roared to start the 2nd half while the Cavs sleepwalked? If the Cavs don't start the 2nd half with desperation and intense energy on both ends, Mike Brown MUST be fired.

How often does a player shooting 1/4 with 2 points get interviewed at halftime?

    Oops! suddenly 3 pt game.

The Cavs shouldnt post up Big Z. Nothing good happened. Face up jumpers are okay.

a deflection to pierce for a 3 and then garnett just throwing one in off the backboard? are the celtics just going to luck their way into not choking?
