It was a local Boston station and Walton was bragging about the Laker's victory. Doesn't matter if he's a HoFer, it was bad sportsmanship and callousness on Walton's part.

The Sports Junkies in DC hung up no him since he wouldn't stop talking and they couldn't ask him a question after 5 minutes.

They invited him to the show and asked his thoughts about the championship. He expressed his happiness for his son. How is that classless?

invited a father of the opposing, winning team's player after father's day... hm.... guess the station wanted to hear Walton to disown his son on air?

These guys are just the worst kind of people. It's a shame. I'd be embarrassed for my city if that happened here. Completely disrespectful. I just don't know what to say....pathetic.

Uh, what in the world are you talking about? I listened to the audio clip and he wasn't bragging at all, he was just proud of the fact that his son's team won. It's Father's Day man...

I'm not exactly sure what the talk show host expected by inviting Bill Walton to speak with him... on FATHER'S DAY. Never seen such a rude and classless host on talk radio ever!
