First off, here is what you said on page 2: So, pg, you are implying that Refman is buddies with TJ and texxx by saying that he, aligns himself with their views, which led to my post, pg, about just because Refman is a conservative like them doesn't mean, he is their buddy. Your *example* was some thread that had nothing to do with explaining why you felt, compelled to say that Ref "aligns" his views with them. However, pg, I have read enough posts from you on this board to know that is your style as well as the fact that I have also read posts by Refman condemning posts by TJ and texxx. You NEVER answer anyone in a straight manner when you *could* be wrong about something, instead, you use circular logic **** and other things that make no sense whatsoever. Good job on another fine example! Also, how do you know that Refman meant that you were one of the two clowns? He quoted Timing, so it was obvious that he felt that Timing was one, but he never said who the other was, now did he? ( good luck in trying to disprove that, pg ). So, you are the one jumping to conclusions here. You are pretty paranoid to think that he automatically meant that you were the other clown. It could have been simply the fact that it sounded better to say to Timing, "You are one of the two clowns" instead of "You are the clown." It is called, pg what do you call it, EFFECT. If Refman did actually mean that to include *another* person, then you sure are doing a good job in fulfilling that role for that other spot by the way you are acting in this thread. And I FEEL like a clown for going to the trouble of doing this post.
Honestly, Timing...I'd really rather not argue in these threads with you...it always degenerates. I'm sure that's at least partly my fault. But I'd rather not perpetuate it. I shouldn't have even said what I said here involving you...retracted. pgabriel - has nothing to do with popularity contests...you called out his character and i merely said i know him personally...beyond these boards...and i don't find the characterization of him to be fair. period. the end. then i ultimately said that it's not worth arguing with you because i like and respect you too...we can argue politics and/or sports just fine..but i have no intention of entering some pissing match over whether or not one of my friends is an a-hole or not...so i cut off my involvement in it. let it go.
And I already addressed the fact that I could be wrong, and I apologize if you did not know what I meant. I'd like you to point out the post where I wrote Refman was Texx's and Jorge's Buddy also, if not carry on, I already stated I meant this particular issue. I know how Refman feels about my views on RACE RELATED TOPICS. I remember some of his replys to me and if you don't so be it. But that is what I am strictly talking about. I'm not going to go through and search every Refman post, I provided an example, if it wasn't sufficient enough to meet Manny's requirements I could care less. If Refman wasn't referring to me, I will be made to look bad, but I already addressed that in another post, but if you want I will look up the thread where he told me in particular to stick to race related topics, which I felt very insulting. I know that doesn't have anything to do with this, but I just wanted to point out that I have already addressed your concerns in a direct manner. I meant race related topics, and I have already typed that I could be wrong. If that isn't straight enough for you so be it, but in the long run, I'm really not trying to satisfy your requirements of me as a poster.
pg, I am sorry but I don't consider "I apologize if I am wrong but I highly doubt it" to be an apology. That is like saying "I am sorry you are a jerk" (just saying that in general). Also, yes, you are right that you never said that Refman was buddies with TJ and texxx, but anyone who has made it to junior high school could read what you wrote and know that you *implied* that just because Refman has the same political views as Jorge and texxx that he is friends or "buddies" with them. I merely pointed out that Refman has told Jorge in the past that he thought he was obnoxious with his "CASE CLOSED" and "ROOKIE" type posts. Needless to say I don't think that Ref is allies with Jorge and texxx. I don't care what he said to you in another thread; I just found it odd and somewhat humorous that you *automatically* assume that he called you a clown when you have no definitive proof. And it will surprise you that I don't have standards for posters here; however, if I see things that are out of the ordinary, so to speak, then I will usually comment on it.
Well I'd rather you said so it'd be out in the open but oh well. Anyways regarding Refman, his views on this subject have been lock step with these other two for a long time here and pg and I obviously remember and recognize that better than some of the rest of you probably because of the things that have been directed at us. So the fact that they don't get beers and go to strip clubs together doesn't really mean anything regarding the issue but in the end it's just pointless because it's just not worth the time to deal with any longer. The next time either of the three present any data or actual scientific studies to back up their opinions will be the first time.
Come on guys, lay off pg and timing. They're out of their league in this discussion, but you all really shouldn't pile on and kick them when they're down. Seriously.
Interesting, if everyone is right, then you are proclaiming I am losing an argument about a poster proclaiming you you to be a clown. Maybe he was referring to you, I apologize.
