Was this action by Batum Right or wrong?

Who knows anymore? If I pick a side the liberals will shout me down and call me names.

Am I against someone's right to punch another man in the happy place? Do I support violence? Am I anti French? Pro Spain? Only God can judge? Am I too opinionated? Do I not care enough?

Truth is there will always be people on both sides of the fence.

All I know is I'm going to eat lamb chops with a side of mash & veges now.

 

Chick-Fil-A doesn't make domestic policy. They make Spicy Chicken Biscuits, which are OFF-THE-CHAIN! :grin:

Please accept my apology for my part in this misunderstanding.

What I think happened, for me anyway, was that when you used the word disagree I had this other definition stuck in my head, and it didn't include bigotry which I guess I'd unconsciously relegated to a different corner of my brain.

But you are totally right. You should feel free to disagree with gays having equal rights or with blacks having equal rights or with women having equal rights. And you should keep calling it a "disagreement" too. That's especially cute.

 

The secret ingredient is hate. You'd love it.

I feel horrible for a certain poster who has made a big joke of a thread to piss over. he has more important issues going on at home right now and it is sad and embarrassing. crass jokes about gays and Muslims any chance he gets

Mate, I haven't posted ant crass jokes about gays or Muslims, nor have I said any hateful homophobic comments, but I do respect you as a poster on this board, and respect your opinion and therefore will cease on this topic.


I admit that I know very little about homosexuals and their behaviour, and what they do is their business, as long as it doesn't affect my family or I.


And thank you for your concern about my daughter, she is feeling a lot better today.

 

No one is saying they're setting policy.

What I am saying is that when politicians tweet pictures of themselves smiling with Chik Fil A, they aren't defending free speech or rallying around the first amendment.

They are expressing support for using government coercion to impose religious views on others. THAT'S what makes them assholes.

 

This seems to be the attitude that the vast majority of people have -- so why can't we just let them marry?
