That last play was a cluster**** of epic proportions. Also, Marcus Smart is annoying as hell. Also also, Thomas was a little punk for trying to pull that ****.

Moral of the story: refs will swallow their whistles at the end of games the majority of the time. They are probably even instructed to in order to let the last second drama occur for highlights.

The point is that punishing a ref is less damaging to the game than blatantly incorrect calls at important times.

I mean seriously? Lets talk about the important things, instead of debating things that quiet frankly, aren't debatable.

You could punish refs in such a way that guys with years of experience start quitting. Or they could push their union to fight back and who knows what kind of results that may yield. The truth is that all referees in all sports miss calls, it's part of the game and part of life. Of course the game would be better if the refs never made mistakes, but that's impossible. So, I was trying to have THAT discussion you small minded, depthless, poster. There is absolutely no proof that punishment effects poor behavior to the point of elimination. Look at murder. Does the death penalty stop murder? No. Same thing here, you have to allow refs a certain amount of leniency that allows them to be human. Refs are already reprimanded for piss poor calls, so what do you actually have in mind? Be specific or drop it. I'd suggest you drop it. You're clearly not in a state of mind to debate.

If you want constant replay review it will slow down a game that's historically been fun because it's free flowing without long stoppages. So what do you want? And what are the results of what you want? Again, I suggest you drop it.

i can tell you guys this, if the game slowed down anymore than it does already, the NBA might lose me as a fan. It's why I attend and watch more basketball than other sports, it's because there is almost always something happening. Even free throws can be exciting depending on who's at the line.

Wow, that was a very well run play to hide the pull / take down of Harrell by Thomas....if that was pre planned. I never even noticed that live.

Last 2 minute report missed the trip by Thomas on Beverly.

Thomas just by himself took down 2 rockets to free up Hartford, who ended up traveling.
