Remember when he torched us last year w/ 6 or 7 threes?

i would imagine that we would be trading Jho or spoon in a package with a guard then cutting moochie.

    reasons:

assume we sign deke. that gives us 15 players on the roster. right now we are hovering around the LT after signing swift, bowen, head. JB and deke would put us a couple mil over if resigned to the vet min (around $1M each). using the LLE would add another $1.7M to that. the player on the team who's salary comes closest to equaling that of deke, JB, and LLE is moochie.

I thought we would use the LLE on a guard (spree, payton, buckner) but if it is walter then it doesn't save us from making a trade.

if we sign a PF then we would have, stro, Jho, spoon, and the FA. stro is staying so Jho or spoon may be gone.

if we sign a guard then either wesley or james will be traded. head won't be traded, JB was just resigned, and ward is JVG's favorite player of all time. sura will be kept for chemistry.

we still have a lot to do this offseason! should be fun.

Yeah, about 4 or 5 other people already remembered that in this thread.

That was the only time he torched anyone all season.

McCarty could barely get off the bench even when Phx lost Johnson and was left with 5 reliable players.

The Suns decided to sign Padget instead.

I don't really need to know any more, I think Glover or Baxter would have a better chance of contributing.

He can play all the front-court positions, but don't expect him to rebound better than Tyron Lue.

McCarty is a good player, and he gave us trouble when he was onthe Celtics and Suns. Well inconsistently.

Just like Stromile always dunking on Yao.

He could be sorta like Horry..and he's sorta like Padgett role player. Let's get him as Padgett replacement. Bowen same role as last season great team player :)

hahaha hilarious. I agree, this bum is 6'10 and only brings in less than 2 rbds a game? wtf is that? Go sign glover or baxter as the backup 3, not this only 3 pt shooting clown. Plus, we can't sign EVERYONE who wants to go to the rockets. We still have our core group to hang on to. I've even given up on this mighty mouse chase. our line-up is set.

exactly. I would be dissappointed seeing this guy in a rox uni. We already have enough dead weight.

I want to start off by saying he sucks, Period. He has never impressed me as a player and I don't think he even belongs in the NBA.

    [IMG] I hate Waltah!!! [IMG]

Why are we (Dallas) pursuing him? Can't he just narrow it down to Rox and Sixers?

I know; I'm a fan of the other two Texas Triangle teams. I just wanted to chime in because Dallas is included in his short list.

Besides the fact that it is fun to say WALTAH, all I know about him is that Tommy Heinson loved his hustle. I think he would be a JVG type player and a good addition to our bench. But if he will not sign for the leauge minimum then it means that he does not want to win multiple championships and is just a money hungy thug. So screw him!!

By the way, for those of you who have trouble grasping the concept of sarcasim, that was sarcasum. Maybe a bad example of sarcasum, but still. Spelling on the other hand, is a concept that I have a hard time grasping.
