It seems like we've lost our chance to land CB.

Morey is smart though, and I think his backup plan will be impressive.

There are plenty of free agents and signed players that we could sign, or trade for, to improve the team.

I feel confident that Brad Miller will be a Rocket, in the least. That's a start for getting more size and toughness on the team.

When you play poker, you have two choices, fall for the gamble or call the bluff.

In Toronto's case, I see them calling the bluff

I'm getting to the point where I don't even want Bosh anymore. It's clear that he doesn't want to play here, and if he does end up coming here, it's because he SETTLED for the Rockets.

or (c) both Wade & Bosh S&T to Houston so 1.) they got on the same team 2.) they both got 6yr. max. w/ no state tax and 3.) that's almost gurantee to NBA finals

it's all up to their dicision. i think we got enought assets to work w/ Tor. & Mia. if that's what they want. Miami won't find a better deal then K-mart+Brooks

    Yao, Miller(?), Anderson
    Bosh, Patterson, Hayes
    Ariza, Budinger
    Wade, Taylor
    Lowry, MLE/LLE player

As a career Rockets fan, I have to say at this point, I really don't care if he comes to Houston, or not because if Bosh really wanted to play for Rocks, he would of signed already. His first option is to play with James, or Wade, or all three and tried to string teams in paying them max. When Bosh doesn't schedule a visit to Houston, clearly we aren't his choices. At least I know Bosh is going to miss out great Rockets fans. It'll be a great day when I stop following tweets of Bosh, Wade and Lebron, and start following tweets of Brad Miller, Yao, Scola and Lowry.

Man, so much speculation in this thread. what's so bad about not really knowing for sure what people's motivations are?

I don't think the agent is purely about making his own profit. You do that, and you're going to get a bad rep and will be out of the business rather quickly. Who's going to hire an agent who screws his clients for his own profit?

As for what Morey is doing, I hope he's doing nothing. I don't want him to try and convince Bosh or Toronto to do anything at this point, just wait. If Bosh ends up coming here, it will be because other deals turned sour and we suddenly became the best option.

That said however, if it comes down that Bosh is more interested in that 6th year then anything else, then I'm going to question the guys character a bit. I know that you don't want to leave money on the table, but if that's all it's about...

At least we can stop the speculation. The lack of love shown to Houston by Bosh and company was a telling sign. Bosh never had any intentions to come here. I believed at first but soon enough it didn't stay that way with all the reports coming out.

Awesome! See ya later Bosh! I am so glad that we are not going to over pay for a Flower Forward such as Bosh. We still have a solid Frontcourt of Ming, Scola, Hill, Pat

Idc, about time we can move on.. Im lookin forward to the maturation of Jordan Hill/Chase/JT/Patterson.. we'll be better jus from those player improving.. Morey always has a trick up his sleeve Im sure he didnt have all his eggs in this longshot basket as I believe he was merely just givin it his best shot while preparing for plan Z

Wouldn't a S&T further gut the Heat's lineup and make them a weaker team?

Not me, I think Toronto will want their draft pick back, if they let Bosh go, they get nothing...

    Teams always...ALWAYS blink.

LMAO, they're gonna keep hoping its a smoke screen until they see him play his first game as a Heat. Sometimes, the truth hurts but we have to deal with it and move on.

Hardly. i havent posted anything about bosh's decision today, it doesnt surprise me and it certainly doesnt crush me. It was obvious from day one that were were an "of all else fails" plan, so i knew he wouldnt come here unless this thing dragged out, and by dragging out i dont mean just one week into free agency. That's hardly dragging out the issue, but you wouldnt know it by the way people are jumping off bridges today. Im bothered more by the drama queens on this board than bosh's decision. At least he's not flip flopping..meanwhile many on here worship him one day and hate him the next.
