This is like when you go to the gym and all the "good" dudes wanna team up and hoop on the same team, just so they can dominate and play all day. Only they get smoked their second game because they have zero chemistry.
Why would i be wrong if 2 team up Hell, i wouldnt even be wrong if all three team up....i never said they wouldnt, but that it was very unlikely, probably not the main focus of this conference call, since there's more to talk about and sort out than just trying to form a big 3. For example, If lebron starts off by saying he's decided he cant leave cleveland, that may ruin Wade's plan A (to team up with him in chicago). So then wade has to go to Bosh and discuss this exclusively with him. for all we know chicago was only his plan A if lebron came along,b ut with Bosh Miamia is plan A. Or if Lebron says, i've decided to go to chicago, then wade may decide to jump on that, and bosh is left out, so he has to shift his focus to houston....there's alot of different variations of this, which is why they need the conference call
I think now that it's clear lebron has decided, and likely decided not to team up with either, then the other two want confirmation of this. Then they can narrow their choices even more and finalize their own decision.
I really don't think neither of the three players Lebron, Wade and Bosh will ever team up after Stoudimiere decided to go to New York. And i really think that Morey will be right on the money for SNTwith the Raptors for Bosh.
Good thinking, and it's very logical... Only problem is Houston isn't where Bosh wants to be, not saying there isn't a chance he could still end up here...he could. But realistically, unless all of his options(meaning where Bosh wants to go)completely fall apart, then i don't see it happening.
Next thing you know, Ryan Bowen, Scott Padgett, and Brian Cardinal assemble to hold a conference call to discuss potential options for teams that are seeking their services. These guys sure are full of themselves.
@awexler: Alright let's have some guesses ... RT @PDcavsinsider: LeBron's announcement is not expected to be in one of the cities he's considering Uhmmmmm.......Can I dream?
There sure is a whole lot of whining going on. You guys are complaining like this is a movie that's taking too long to finish. Their priority with this decision isn't to keep us entertained. Its to make the best choice for their careers going forward.
Remember when you were 13 years old and couldn't go anywhere without your best buddy? These guys are reliving that.
That's kind of a funny statement... The announcement is not expected to be in one of the cities he's considering. So is the announcement the big deal? Based on the wording, it sounds more like an announcement issue, not a destination issue.
It's the NBA's worst kept secret that Bosh is joinning Wade in Mami or they are both signing with the Bulls.
Based on his Twitter update sure seems like Bosh agreed to sign with someone today. Have to think it's tied to LBJ somehow or he would have had his own announcement. Why wait?
Exactly. This crap is getting real old and starting to become rediculous. A freaking conference call to see what everybody else is going to do, what a joke.
I understand that they're talking about their own futures, but why with each other? That "making the league better" stuff that Bron said isn't working for me, cuz at the end of the day it's your own decision. Teams persuading you is one thing, but other players shouldn't make an impact.
