Who would you prefer at PF position?

Or, do you think Smith is better than Bosh?

With or without Smith, I'm glad the Rockets didn't pay Bosh. Riles saved Morey from himself .

Money aside, i think Bosh is the better player than Josh. but right now, we are only paying him 2mil, so he is definitely good value for money on this team. Thank god we didnt overpay Bosh or Parsons since we have Ariza, Jsmoove and Brewer now.

At their current contracts or what they originally signed for?

    Josh for $2mill, otherwise bosh

Bosh is better but give me Smith, Brewer and Ariza instead. I prefer a deep team than a stacked and worn out starting 5.

Bosh is a much smarter player, but there are 2 million reasons that make Smith the better choice.

You really must not watch Bosh play or even read his stat sheet to come to this conclusion. Bosh has played like a star, borderline superstar, this year.

Josh Smith is at best a good 3rd option. Unless we nab Dragic with the monetary savings, I'm going with Bosh here easily.

This is a who's better poll as it reads, which is 100% hands down Bosh.

If you stated Smith at 2 mil or Bosh at 22, it's still is Bosh.

If you stated Bosh + Parsons or Ariza + Brewer + Smith? It's debatable, but it's probably still in favor of Bosh. This needs to wait until after those spare parts turn into someone else.

Hell, if Miami continues to suck, Terry + Pap/Brewer + Shved + Dorsey + Jones + Johnson + Pels pick, Rox 2016/2018 picks could even turn into.......Bosh! Then we'd have both =P

TL;DR..... It was a big downer to not get bosh, it was a heavens flippin blessing we got Smith, that was a 99% impossibility. Bosh is a better player.

Bosh is good but Smith fits better with the team. I think this change of scenery is going be good for Smith. Detroit is a depressing place.

The Bosh / current situation reminds me of the Pau Gasol situation.

I'm glad Riley signed Bosh away from us, so that now we have Josh Smith for a fraction of the cost for this year.

I'm glad David Stern vetoed the Gasol trade, so we didn't trade away Scola, Dragic, and Kevin Martin (who helped net us Harden) to NOLA

Both are excellent defenders but Bosh can actually shoot.

For the same money, Bosh is the better player but for 2 million, Smith is the better fit. If Bosh would sign with us for the BAE and I had to choose between him and Smith??? I would definitely take Bosh. But when you throw their contracts into the mix, I would rather have Smith at the BAE than Bosh at max or close to it.

Smith is healthy, makes 20 million less, and is hungry to win. I think I'll go with him over Bosh.
