That's funny, I completely agree about Bosh and Johnson. I have no idea why they don't get the respect they deserve.

EDIT: Okay, maybe I do have an idea. It seems like people project their teams' problems onto them. The Raptors are awful on defense so it must be because of their best player, right? The Hawks are incredibly inconsistent so it must be because of their best player, right?

Glad to see Morey likes and respects Joe Johnson. As somebody that follows the Hawks closely, it's certainly no secret to me that even despite JJ being a second-tier star he literally does EVERYTHING for that team. It probably helps explain our interest in Iguodala too given that Iggy is a slightly poor man's version of JJ that happens to bring a lot of the same qualities and strengths to the table.

That said, we won't be getting JJ but it definitely makes sense as to why Iggy is such a strong option for us.

As the other resident Hawks follower, I agree. JJ is considered "second tier" because of where he plays, in my opinion. And I have to believe there is no way ATL lets him get away this offseason. Unless he just flat out wants to leave.

the lakers already know that the rockets are capable of beating their team without even having any allstars on their team, and adding bosh will probably give the lakers more fits. so i basicaslly feel the lakers might be doing anything in their power to hinder rocket's chances of getting bosh, because the lakers know that the lakers might go trhrough the rest of the regular season going through hell. kobe's shooting slump is bad enough for the lakers.
