I agree, but that doesn't mean that his market value as a FA is $9 million.

Sure he can Bosh's range extends beyond the three point line which is where he will be 80% of the time with Yao on the floor. High-post and outside creating space for attacking room. Remember Lowry gets to the line alot.

It may become even more inflated, kinda like monta ellis since he's the only one the perimeter for us.

He's already raised eyebrows last year in the playoffs against the lakers, and now he's leading a team without yao and t-mac in the western conference.

Im sure some GM's see him as an up-incoming PG and someone will throw that kind of money at him.

Brooks has another year on his rookie salary contract. Lowry is a pending free agent and is set to get a deal this offseason probably starting at around $5 million, maybe even the whole MLE. We are going to keep Brooks on that rookie contract and pay him scraps for another year and offer Lowry in trade since he is going to have to be paid this offseason. That is unless a deal for DWade or Lebron James comes out of nowhere............which isn't likely.

Kyle Lowry is the point guard that is on the trading block. When you see Conroy play and realize he has the same strengths as Lowry, he gets to the FT line often, and he is a running point guard with very scrappy defense, who is actually a better shooter than Lowry, and we can bring him along and play him for probably a couple years at the league minimum before we have to pay him........then it all points to Lowry being the point guard we are willing to offer in trade.

Now consider that Lowry is a Philly boy. And start thinking about McGrady, Cook, and Lowry for Iguodala, Dalembert, and Speights. Now possibly throw in Ariza on our end and Lou Williams on Philly's end and you may ahve the makings of a deal in there somewhere.

This is quite true. I guess what I miserably failed at doing was debunking the theory that Bosh in a Laker uniform would have the same impact as Malone in a Laker uniform. Anyone who thinks that Bosh can't be successful playing along Kobe and Pau will have lots to complain about when they win the title again. If they trade Bynum to Toronto, they can move Pau back to the center position and put Bosh at the 4. The only road for potential disaster is if/when Artest will take it upon himself to get his if Bosh arrives.

While I am all for the trade and think Bosh is an upgrade over Landry/Scola, I do think we need a better wing player more than a PF. the combination of Landry/Scola gets job done.

I think the best scenario for Rox is to acquire a wing player who can flat out score, such as Joe Johnson if Atlanta is going to break up after the season; but if they are not, Iggy would be the second best choice.

I am still not 100% sold on AB. He has some nice qualities and tries very hard (maybe too hard), but I don't think he will ever learn how to fully use his teammates. Lowry can be that guy, but he needs to be more consistent and more assertive.

Clutch mentioned a Bosh trade was lined up last year but the Rockets rejected it. If thats the case it probably didnt include Lowry or Brooks because they didnt really hit thier strides until after the trade deadline. Scola is likely the piece the Raptors want.

Man, all this Bosh talk sounds so good. I'm almost setting myself up for disappointment.

If no GM was willing to give him 8.5-9.5 million, why would we be upset about trading Landry and Brooks for Bosh? Morey has repeatedly said that we need to acquire superstar talent to win NBA championship.

And Luke has his arm far enough up that puppet to make it wink.

How does LA always seem to be right in the front of the line for the talent. I mean Kobe, Odom, Gasol...who they basically got for Kwame Brown. Kwame Brown!!!! And now they might get Bosh. LA doesn't even need him.....we do.

You forget that Yao is recovering from an extremely risky reconstruction surgery. If he breaks his foot again, it may be the end of his career. If Morey is planning for the future, he will need a PF/C. Landry and Scola are just PF.

Chuck Hayes and David Andersen is not enough at the C, if Yao's career ends. The good thing about about a PF/C is that Bosh can play with Yao at the same time.

No one complained when they traded Caron Butler for Kwame Brown. They traded friggin Shaq for Odom! No one thought they won that trade. Even if they didn't trade for Pau Gasol, they drafted Marc Gasol who is beastly in his own right. Let's face it, they manage their team pretty well. And none of the teams they trade with are complaining.

No, thanks. This is the strongest position with the least cost in this team.

Bosh to LA to play alongside with Pau, Kobe, Artest and Odom? I don't think that's fair to the rest of the league. I feel like teams like Boston, LA and Cavs get any players they want. Its bull crap and we're stuck with Ariza and Brian Cook.

He is more than a Yao Ming to them. Bosh is a type of player that can take over games, put up crazy numbers like 30 points and 15 rebounds and Yao put up numbers like 25 points and 9 rebounds. Bosh is way better than Yao. Bosh's basketball IQ is also much higher.
