How is he an attention w**** for answering questions? What has Chris Bosh done different than other big time free agents?

This board is filled with a lot of drama queens.

I would say using his twitter account to ask fans where he should go is being an attention w****. Unless you really think he plans to factor in those tweets in his final plan. Then there is the youtube "vote me into the all star game" video.

He's catching it from a few sportswriters as well so it isn't like we are the only ones getting the feeling that the kid is an immature attention w****.

He's McGrady 2.0 and I don't want him here for max dollars.

I don't blame Bosh for doing what is right, I am just saying that he is not someone you build around.

Toronto did a horrible job of building around Bosh. If he went to Houston he'd still be considered "the man" but I have no doubt that we would be a top team in the NBA.

I don't understand this mindset where you guys reject people like Chris Bosh, but then are quick to reach out to people with potential like Buddinger and Hill (potential to be all-stars, not that they aren't already solid role players).

If Chris Bosh was 30, it would be one thing. But he isn't. He's still got a few years in him. You take the guy that's the sure thing.

He said he want to be the "MAN", but how are you going to be the man if you play with Lebron or Wade?? Don't make sense. If you want to be the man...then come to Houston. Yao is never bother being the man or not...he wants to win.

It's a damn shame b/c Bosh as a role player to Yao would create championships..

I guess Bosh's dream is to be an all-star with no ring.

Thats because Yao has never been told to be the man, he has always been so polite by completely being subservient to the Franchise and then Tracy McGrady. Possibly Morey or Adelman might decide to tell Yao he is now the man. Yao needs this and will follow directions to the letter.
This could be the beginning/end of the Yao we have been hoping for for several years. :p

Good, we don't need Bosh anyway... everyone is forgetting the type of player Scola was near seasons end(which was a slew of dominating performances)

This is the greatest news for the Rockets IMO.

Time to move on from Bosh and get our team focused and ready for the up coming season.

Let Morey do his magic, and we'll be fine barring injuries.

I thought he just put that on his twitter as a joke or random tweet. I don't consider that to be an attention w****.

Everyone is big on Hill/Budinger because of the high energy they bring off the bench, along with pretty damn good offensive skill sets. That is rare to find on NBA benches. Sure the NBA has a ton of high energy players coming off benches, but when you have high energy players with great offensive/defensive skill sets, those are true roles players. Which are a must for every single championship team that has won the title since Basketball was invented.

You need stars, yes. But you also need those role players off the bench or starting that can get the job done when needed. Robert Horry wasn't a stud basketball player, but he got the job done when needed the most. And that is why everyone, or at least majority of the rockets fans are high on Hill and Budinger.

That means he want money, not a ring. Any team built around him is going nowhere fast

Yeah that is kind of a turn off, but if Yao only gets 20-25 minutes a night, he would be option #1 here. No big egos on this team that I know of and awesome chemistry. As long as he's not complaining about touches (aka statistics) and means he wants to be a leader in the locker room or example on the floor, come to Houston!

I wouldn't place any bets on landing a max contract guy. I'll wager Morey pulls a quality piece this summer, but someone completely unexpected and never mentioned by the myriad of wannabe trades in this forum. Exactly like the Ron Artest deal. Good player (All-Star potential if on the poor Wizards), fair contract.

Sometime this summer or by the trade deadline, we have to get a big body who can do more than just take up space. No reason to think the Lakers can't repeat again and no one is going to beat them without quality size and rebounding.

I was joking. "center" piece, but he plays "power forward." get it, get it?

    I know I know.

We never come close to what Korey does. In the draft, he'll probably draft a no name that will be a solid contributor. Bosh will probably not be here, but a tier two free agent will with a solid mle player. I'm going to sit back and relax.
