the Ali G movie In Da House looks kind of lame... its the unscripted stuff that makes Sasha shine...

 

Best interview was the Conan one he did a while ago before the movie was announced so all the material was original and different. Very very funny..

AliG indahouse was pure class. fantastic movie imho.

 

I am going to see this movie. I have seen a lot of positive stuff on this board and around the web and tv.

 

i almost pissed my pants.

i saw it tonight. at one point i was in tears falling out of my seat.

 

$26 million over the weekend from less than 900 screens. That's almost unheard of.

The only problem is that Cohen will probably have to retire Borat, now that everybody knows that it's all an act. How many characters can he come up with?

i dont even see how he can make a bruno movie, by now everyone with internet access or a tv around the world has heard of borat and they've done some research on ali g and know theres also another character called bruno, so i dunno who he could fool as Bruno.

 

I wonder what people from Kazakhstan would think about this movie...

 

Hadn't they already threatened to sue him a while back?

 

Yeah, I am glad it came back on I remember missing most of it yesterday.

 

So the box office numbers were low because it was only released to 800 theatres, how many theatres are movies typically released to?

sacha will be on leno on thursday, i'm guessin still as borat.

sidenote- i have a good friend in houston who is a absolute ringer for sacha and speaks just like him as well. its so weird. my mate is paki/english and has the skin tone and all that to look like sacha. just weirdness.
