YAO needs to foul BOOZER HARD a few times ( after the HALF) so that he thinks twice before atempting a jump shot.

How many defenders are the Jazz usually sending at Yao? 2, 3, sometimes 4? And Kirilenko -- one of the best off the ball help defenders in the NBA -- is just waiting to block Yao at the basket if Yao beats his man.

The Rockets have decided not to double Benedict Loozer when he renegs on a promise to re-sign with the team his rookie contract wasn't renewed, I mean when he gets the ball. And when Yao covers Loozer, there isn't a shot blocker in the Rockets' lineup to help out when Loozer gets past Yao.

Yao did a terrible job in defending Boozer. Let's face it. Boozer just used Yao's fingertip as the aim and hit the jumpers again and again and again. Yao's speed is also not enough to stop his layups.
BUT! There is nothing Yao can do about that! Only JVG can help -- to switch the defenders!!!!! Yao is not a good matchup when defending Boozer, face the fact. Let Yao put more energy in offense and use a smaller player to kick Boozer's ass, just like what GSW did to Nowitzki.

    Carlos Boozer
    22.3 ppg
    11.5 rpg
    65% FT
    47% FG

    Yao Ming
    25.3 ppg
    11.3 rpg
    91% FT
    44% FG

Yeah, Yao is Boozer's "hooker".

Exactly. And if you put Yao on Okur, then he'll go off too. Boozer getting his points is a given. Lets just shut Okur down and be happy with that.

Did you actually watch the game? He was impossible. Maybe I should clarify, of anyone that got in the game, he was our worst player tonight. That's undeniable. All of you Yao homers need to face the facts and it's that this guy just can't carry the team. We go as McGrady goes. But Yao certainly does have the ability to lose the game on the defensive end.

yao is the best center, but def. not close to the best big man in the game.

boozer is challenging him for the best big man in THIS series.

it's two or 3 years agao amare scored 40 points on td multiple times, but the suns lost the series , I do not care how many points boozer scores as long as we can win. to shut down boozer is much easier than beating the jazz.

The Rockets won and Yao hit the game winning FTs and you can't handle it. Sucks for you.

Stats don't come close to telling the story. I don't understand how anyone could defend Yao the way you do. He's been absolutely pathetic. I'm convinced you're either a relative or Chinese.

    You TOF again exposed yourself.
Rockets lost last two games only because TMac was lifeless, and Yao was the only normal player in the team. He was not stellar today in scoring, but he was huge in the rebouding part. Honestly, if not for Okur's world-class acting and their permitted dirty hacking under the basket, Yao had a complete game for the Rockets. He's the true dominating force in the game.

You're acting like a troll, and are just as ignorant and classless as Utah fans. Shame on you!

uh those are his playoff averages. after today his fg% drops to 42% but his rebounds go up to 12 and his points go down to 24.4 a game. ROLLSEYESROLLEYESSES

And Yao's been efficent throughout his career. If he shoots over 50%, like he has done throughout most of his career, his "averages" would look as good as any other allstar bigman. Save for the blocks :p

Ah, so now stats don't tell the story. Ok. If 25 ppg and 11 rpg is "absolutely pathetic" I'll take that any day of the week.

I'm convinced you're either a relative or Chinese.

And I'm convinced that you'll look for any reason to whine and cry about Yao. Because if you're acting this much like a baby after a win that speaks volumes.
