    Yao Ming 6-18 FG
    33% FG%

    Carlos Boozer 12-23 FG
    52% FG%

If you shoot enough you'll get points, but a center shooting 33% from the field is horrible. Boozer owned Yao tonight, and JVG has to think of a better matchup or help Yao with a double team.

It sounds to me like you're looking for a reason to rip Yao because it's "preposterous" to not give him credit for helping win that game. The last I checked we won the game. With the way you're ranting about Yao you would have thought that the Rockets lost by 15 points. Again, who hit big shots at the end of the game? Yao. Who hit the game winning FTs? Yao. Who won the game? The Houston Rockets TEAM.

Exactly. The people who are so in love with Boozer, talking about him "dominating" Yao and posting pictures of him are quick to forget that he's the primary go-to guy while Yao shares that assignment with McGrady. Yao is also the anchor on defense, blocking shots, etc. His job isn't to always guard a guy one-on-one. At the end of the day Yao's team won Boozer's team lost. Numbers are pretty to look at, but Ws are what count.

Anyone defending Yao is out of their minds. No sane person could have watched that game and not come to the conclusion that Yao was the weakest link on the court, on both ends. If he doesn't turn himself around, we will not win this series. Period. He is our worst player right now.

Yeh Amare has a flat jumper, while Boozer's is HIIIIIIGH arching. That's what makes him hard to guard for yao.

This is exactly what I'm talking about be it Juwan Howard or Chuck Hayes. Or dammit a guard jumping in and taking a swipe at the ball.

There is not a lot of people that can guard Boozer when he's on. JVG needs to make some adjustment. Yao is carrying way too much load trying to score being mugged by two guys and try to D up Jazz's best scorer.

If you think Yao on Boozer is a mismatch what do you think Chuck Hayes on Boozer would be?

Tonight's game is irrelevant. If Yao doesn't improve, we'll lose this series. If we somehow escape, the Warriors will run us off the court. He needs to be All Star Yao if we're gonna go anywhere and right now he is Carlos Boozer's hooker.

Speed has always been the Rockets Achilles Heel all season. Suns, Warriors, Mavs. Ouch!

We are just saying that he should play better on the defensive end... We know the rockets won but we didn't win the series yet. When a player can score with ease 10 straight plays (20 pts) on our 7'6 franchise player that's not a good sign. It's a mistake to get over excited just because we won a very close game. It's a bigger mistake to not accept the fact that Yao played like crap on the defensive end against Boozer.

Yao needs to do a better job on the next game. End of story.

No playoff game is irrelevant. Sorry, the only "hooker" is your precious Boozer, because he couldn't do a damn thing when Yao was hitting those FTs to win the game now could he?

It's obvious Yao is no Olajuwan. He's no Rik Smits or Shawn Bradley either. So remember that.
