Well, to be fair, it was Megan Manfull who caused the new flare up of the man crush by doing very bad research and then misstating the facts.

So if Boozer is not available, what about KMart; I love his game!?

I think Boozer to the Cavs is quite similar to Cat for us a couple of years ago.

2nd round pick. Underappreciated. He'll probably be underpaid in Cleveland for years to come, with fans appreciating what he sacrifices for that team.

Wishful thinking, but no way do I see Cleveland letting him walk.

He won't be underpaid after next season. He will get a much higher contract than Cat did.

I like Boozer's game...I would like him as a Rocket, but it won't happen...They'd be stupid to let him go...

Well, they still gotta give LeBron a max contract at some point. Is Boozer their #2? I dunno, but somehow I think the Cavs will get good bang-for-the-buck outa Boozer.

I had never heard of a team getting a team option on a 2nd round draft pick.

    That is highly unusual.

    Cavs were smart.

boozer, i think kmart is overrated. Half the points he probably gets are from dunks that jkidd sets him up with. He is mainly athletic and that all.

After seeing what Ginobili and Okur are doing as well as Arenas in the past and Boozer this season, I bet you start to see A LOT more teams offer that team option for the 3rd year for 2nd rounders!

Except that it was already posted (with sources) by several people about three weeks ago in a thread you responded to.

My read on Boozer is that he's gotten better since day 1. His weight was a issue coming in and his athleticism, both of which has been resolved. He's tough, physicall, and a high % player. In the west , just like Brand has, can still be a 15ppg 9-10 rebs 50%fg shooter. He's egible for fa because he have a 2yr contract for a 2nd rd pick. The thinking is, if the Rox go at him for about the trade exception, over 4 yrs, it could be done. If that happens, they neem per and the Rox keep Spoon and Cato as 4/5 backups along with Badiane coming ind to leave Taylor unprotected. Maybe , Bobcats would take his 8m and the rox keep spoon and cato as 4/5 backups.

Have you even read this thread at all??!?!?!

Maybe we need a sticky "BOOZER IS NOT A FREE AGENT AND AFTER NEXT SEASON, CLEVELAND WILL HAVE HIS BIRD RIGHTS."

Why don't you let us know how you really feel sir J? Btw, who should the rocks go after with their 1st rounder this season?

It's about time to part with booze talk. Its love that shall not be returned upon. Time to move on to a new mancrush, or perhaps revisit old mancrushes. Hmmm. Undersized free agent EC forward. Hmmm. Fizer fits that bill. Lets spoon him up. Fizer for rox starting pf, 2004. He's going to be a force(he was the #4 pick in the draft you know).

    SJC,

Pull your panties out of your vagina bro.....I know what you posted in the other thread.

And, it is contradicted in the article posted in THIS thread.

Makes you wonder who is actually right.

For what it is worth...IF there is a team option, and I am not discounting the possibility, it would be the FIRST one I have heard of for a 2nd round pick.

That means the team would have had to guarantee the first 2 years of a 2nd rounders contract...highly unusual.

Ginobli IS a Free Agent...and I also think the Rocks should go after him.
