BOOM SHAKALAKA! EA to announce return of 'NBA Jam'

The President Clinton one was real, the others were mostly made up.

 

I think the Jam series peaked with Hangtime. Original formula + alley oops, really fun game.

This. Is Jordan still under the EA umbrella? That kept him from being in the old NBA Jams, IIRC, but he was in the NBA Street games from a few years back.

 

You have to be up by four in the closing seconds or else the other team will hit a full court three as soon as they inbound.

 

This was rigged so you had to throw in 50 more cents to play the OT period....always ticked me off at the arcade.

 

I still have this game on my Super Nintendo! Gonna fire it up tomorrow because of this thread.

 

Ah yes....good times were had by all at the Aladdin's Castle at Willowbrook right outside the General Cinema.

 

I had the NBA JAM TE, was so fun! They released in 1996, so the rockets had just won the second NBA championship, so they were in first place.
I played a lot with Olajuwon and Horry. Also playing with the gorilla (the suns mascot) was fun.
