    Seriously? Ned Stark wasn't a surprise? At least there was a precedence of not knowing who would be killed when Joffrry was killed but Ned??

    I was pretty surprised by Ned's death.

    How many fantasy books have you read? the father/father figure always die. So Ofcourse ned died. It is standard.

    With joffrey i was surprised since has on his way to become the big bad guy. His death was not a standard thing in fantasy books.

    So. Since they are officially OFF BOOK for the Series, Where does that leave the next books?

    At this point the question is now .. . will the books Deviate from the Series?
    What do you think will be different than the show?
    What do you think will be the same?

    He has to change the endings . . .. doesn't he?

    So if he completes the series in book form . . . will you still read them
    knowing what the endings might be . .. cause the TV series will end before the books it seems.
