I use to think Pippen was a jerk after what he said about Barkley and then I realized everything he said was true.

Horry did a great job for us during the Championships but don't forget after that he didn't step up much during the next year.He continued to shoot well but not during the regular season and didn't drive to the hole when he needed to and that frustrated the Rockets organization. I don't mind booing him during free throws since he is not with us anymore.

Then you should not boo Shaq, Kobe, and other Lakers as well. They are all Horry's best friends you know. Horry might get mad if you boo his friends.

I think a lot of people overrate Horry anyways. Sure he hits some clutch shots and plays solid defense, but not much else. I lost all respect for him after he was traded when he said it was nice to get out of the "dump it to Olajuwon offense". How the hell did he think he got so many open shots, much like in LA.

Sound like a typical fan. I was standing next to a guy who started booing Horry at the line....looked at him and asked, "why?"
"Um, Why not?," was his response. He booed because everyone else did. It's the dominoe effect of the fair-weathered fan.
Fans, the "BOOOOO" sound is a low tone sound....90% of the boo-birds just followed the leader. Do a straight yell. (if you've ever been to Kyle Field you know what I'm talking about), It delivers much more volume than a "boo."
The fans were just trying to make volume in any way possible. But sadly, a boo is the only noise they could make. We didn't mean it Mr. Clutch. No true Rockets fan can ever boo this guy if he claims to have any kind of class.

I Love Horry and what he did for Houston. I also believe he said in an interview that he was more partial to his Houston rings than the laker rings. He did not want to leave, and was heartbroken when he was traded. I will chear him reallt louad in games. But in that situation I would have booed him as louad as i could have. I think even he understands that.

Horry played for the opposing team: expect to get booed!

Rudy and CD tried to trade his Bama Bottom for Sean Elliott but the deal got overturned.

Horry indicated NO INTEREST in returning to Houston when it was rumored a couple of years ago.

What exactly do we owe him?

BTW, I like Horry the player! :)

    ... but if he's not in a Rocket's uniform...

I don't find it particularly shocking to booo Horry especially in a game of this intensity.

I wonder however, if MJ has ever been booed in Chicago while taking free throws...

    No interest?!?!?

I could've sworn that a couple years ago he was only considering LA and Houston. This was right after the second straight championship.

His main reason was to be with his daughter and family, which live in Houston because his daughter has had medical issues.

He made the right decision to resign with LA, but I do remember him thinking about returning here.

I understand the screaming to distract the free throw shooter philosophy but when Horry went to the line it was a boo. Your kidding yourself if you think that majority of those boos weren't directly at Horry because he's the ex-rocket. Knowledgable fans would scream to make noise, but a boo is directly at an individual player to show disrespect and/or dislike. The fans booed Shaq and Kobe and Horry and the refs. Who else did the fans boo that game? In a critical situation? That boo was a direct shot at Horry don't hide behind the "situation" bs.

that would be interesting. I wouldnt doubt it, there are a lot of crazy people in Chicago. I know that if I were a Bulls fan, I would definitely not boo MJ, just like I never booed Hakeem when he was with the Raptors

No I don't think that's the case at all. I just think people booed him because the guy plays for the Lakers. Horry hasn't played for the Rockets in 7 freaking years, why cheer the guy?

Nothing Pippen said was true. Last I checked Barkley had the heart to try and carry to organizations on his back, Philly and Phoenix. Meanwhile the guy that is supposed to be "right" is hiding behind Barkley and Hakeem, and now Rasheed and Bonzi instead of showing he can carry a team on his own. Call me when Pippen has half the heart to take a big shot that Charles would take. He might not have hit it all the time, but at least he would try. So yeah Pippen is a jerk, is classless and gutless, and a liar.

I didn't mean cheer....I just meant to just not say anything...BUT....read on...

    I learned better! :D

Once Ellie was at the free-throw line and I sat
    quietly.

Later in the 4th quarter, he hit the game
winning shot (about 4 years ago: spurs vs rox).

The next time we played, I booed. :)

Well, think about it this way.
Would Horry (as a Laker) purposely miss a free throw for us?
