Bobby Jackson isn't great but we NEEDED a backup PG with Playoff experience. On top of that we got rid of James' TERRIBLE contract.

I like the trade and Jackson has been solid contributor.

I'm with DaDa on this one.

I never wanted the guy in the first place, Ill admit that upfront

and when he quit on the team rather than do the work required to get into the rotation, then that just iced it.

I thought maybe Adleman might be able to get into his head and get him to produce, but one out of every five games just isn't enough.

Some of yall (not specifically in this thread) constantly harp on McGrady for being lazy, but then you would go out of your way to pumpup Bonzi.

    Please

McGrady tries 200% more than Bonzi has at anytime, well, except for that ONE series that seems to be his legacy.

glad he is gone, dont miss him.

The Rockets missed Bonzi last night. When you have a lineup of Mike Harris, Luther Head , Bobby Jackson, Battier and Chuck Hayes on the floor you are not going to win many games.

I don't think Bonzi would have made a hill of beans difference last night.

    Moving on...

I agree, Bonzi and his low post presence and his rebounding were sorely missed last night. Without Yao and Bonzi, the Rockest have no real low post presence, which is important in the playoffs. Wells also presents matchup problems for other teams and had 25 pts the first time the Rockets played the Celtics. Maybe he'll sign real cheap to play for the Rockest and Adelman again next season.

yeah and maybe Bonzi is a Celtic killer too as well as a Spur killer cause if I remember correctly, he had a season high of 29 or 30 pts last year against the celtics, and 25 and 9 earlier this year, even though T-mac didn't play in both of those games.
