Bonzi is lazy, he sucks on defense, can't hit free throws and was under 30% on his post ups this year. GOOD FRIGGEN RIDDANCE. Mike Harris owns him....in so many ways. 1. Younger and more athletic 2. Better contract 3. Hustles all the time 4. Went to Rice - so is sharper too. 5. Bonzi is a me first player - Harris is about the team. erm, Bonzi got traded for being inconsistent and being the weakest link on defense. We don't miss him one bit.
Actually, I do miss him... Spurs-killer, could make some nice passes to Yao, even had some nice highlights... I miss all the old Rockets... yes, even Rybo and Scotty the Body... not that I'm complaining about the replacements we got
yeah, because there's "nothing" to make fun physically about Bonzi whatsoever...of any Rockets player ever Bonzi was the most free from that... I don't think Mike Harris is better than Bonzi either. Mike Harris is like Bonzi on strength mismatch against players his size and jumper out to 12 feet. Other than that Bonzi is better creating offense off the dribble and much better passer. Still, I liked Bonzi and didnt like that he was dealt but Bobby Jackson + Harris > Bonzi + Mike James. If they were rated Bobby Jackson's 2.5 Mike Harris 1 Bonzi 3.5 Mike James a -2

Yes it is negative and biased, you know why? Because Bonzi SUCKED here.....he quit on the team last year, milked his contract and outside of a couple of games every blue moon, he was a waste of cap space and time. GOOD RIDDANCE......The Rockets cut out the cancer, and the clubhouse gets better........and by proxy so does the team. Bonzi had you fooled. And since when is Mike Harris a Euro White Scrub? Hey, I love Mike Harris and was really pissed when we kept Novak instead of him after the preseason so you have me confused with someone else. You know what I'm talking about - V-Span, Nachbar... If we didn't have Mike James' 6 million on the IR, we wouldn't have made that trade. It had little to do with Bonzi. With that said, we probably are better off with Mike long term. I agree with your post(s) in principle but a lot of times you cross the line to illustrate your points. p.s. JVG FTW!

Even if Bonzi is still with the rockets right now, he'll surely become a FA this summer. Rockets don't seems to have enough money to reach an agreement with him (I think Bonzi will seek for MLE money contract for 3-4 years which I think is what rockets incapable of supply). SO we'll not have Bonzi this offseason anyway. Basicly, Hornets rent Bonzi for several months, take on MJ's contract and grab some cash(?) to give us a veteran PG with playoff experience with an expiring contract and a 2nd round pick. I think Morey made a great deal.
If this be true then good for Bonzi!! Because he must have woken up when he was traded and suddenly realised that this was his last chance. While playing with the Rockets Bonzi was making so many mistakes and three point attempts that one seemed to think that he just didn't care a damn! He certainly didn't show the heart of Harris and failed to live up to all the hype as a Spurs killer. As musch as I had hoped fora better Bonzi he wa sjusta failure with the Rockets!
I liked Bonzi a lot. He was very unique.He brought a lot to this team. That being said......I only liked Bonzi when he was being aggressive.He brought a lot to this team when he tried hard.He was a very good defender when he put forth the effort and he was such a unique person on offence who could do a lot for this team..when he tried. BUt that happened so infrequently.And i am not sure if that was due to lazineess, out of shape, or what his deal was. I liked the trade not because of Bobby Jackson(who has not done much for us until the Laker game), but because this will help us so much in the future w/ cap and chemistry on our team by getting rid of Mike James. Can you imagine how akward the lockerroom must have been at times w/ Mike James and earlier w/ Steve Francis? Do you think MJ was helping Brooks out by giving him advice or maybe he was bragging that he no longer had to work and was getting paid buttloads? It was a good trade. I miss Bonzi,..well the aggressive Bonzi that we saw every now and then.
Bonzi is TRASH... the lineup of Alston BJ/Head Tmac Battier and whichever 4/5 you want (landry, scola, hayes, mutombo, harris, yao) is much better than having Bonzi Wellimissedagain and MJ shining the bench with his butt. garbage
Bonzi brings (-) = bad chemistry, lackluster performances, slowness, bad defense, takes time from landry, harris, hayes. Bonzi brings (+) = good playoff experience, streaky hot games. Mike James brings (-) = ball hogging, takes away time from luther head or other players. Mike James brings (+) = good shooting (sometimes), good bench player Honestly, I dont miss any of them
