Actually this is not necessarily the case.....

He is unproven and other team's had filled out their rosters by the time he was released.....

Adelman was VERY unhappy that the Rockets released him......I think Rick was right....

He is kind of like Gabe Munoeke (Sp?) he just needs a chance to play.....he plays like a poor man's Shawn Marion..... I hope it is with Houston...

you are right .Harris has been the best foreign player in china ,chinese fans love him very much ,if rockets miss him or he becomes rockets opponent eventually,i will be regretful .
BTW,Harris' offence is very good ,maybe it is due to chinese player' weak defence , he can shoot ,can penetrate ,he can also dribble the ball ,he is athletic and full of energy ,he also have weakness in my eye ,his defence isnt excellent.

Umm, what was he SUPPOSED to do with the shot clock going down? The ball was passed to him with about 4 seconds left on the clock. You think he should have just held onto it?

No, he's not a TMac playmaker, but any player who happens to have the ball in his hands at the clock is winding down has to at least TRY to take a shot.

So it's true that for him to succeed, he needs to be put into situations where is most likely to succeed. But that's no different than any other player, so it's not like it means he is garbage.

When Peja was lighting it up for Sac, he filled a role similar to what Novak can potentially do here. From what I can tell from watching the games, the big holdup seems to be the players themselves are not yet accustomed to looking for Novak on offense unless a play is specifically drawn up for him in the huddle. Once he gets enough minutes, and everyone gets comfortable with each other on the floor, I think (hope?) we will see Novak really start to stand out as a legit NBA threat that other teams HAVE to account for.

It is true, especially from Tuesdays game, that Novak's teammates haven't look to pass him the ball when he's open. Yao especially in the fourth quarter missed him a few times when they doubled off of Novak, but that was just because he was trying to be aggressive in the paint. I don't mind Yao being aggressive in the 4th at all, but I think Novak should have gotten a few more shots that night.

Bonzi's play time has very little to do with Novak's play time. Bonzi now gets about 15 mins play time from 2/3. Novak's play time comes from 4. So, I dont know how not playing Bonzi will help Novak getting more play time. And Novak is limited to play against zone or match-up with outside shooting 4.
