With the Grizz getting a couple of PGs in this deal does this mean they won't resign Earl Watson? This could free them up to move Jason Williams also. The Rockets could benifit from this trade by picking up one of these spare PGs. :D

Positive trade X 3. Bobby Jax is the one, in this deal, I wanted as a Rock.

For the Kings to do this they must not have much faith in Kevin Martin or Cisco Garcia at SG. And who is their back up PG now? I can only see this as a good move for the Kings if they are just adding Bonzi as an "asset" that they can repackage and move later. He will be an 8M expiring contract this season and will be appealing to other teams.

Easy to see why the Grizz did this. They are going to lose Earl Watson in FA and want to move JWill. They can rent Bobby Jackson for a year.

As for Utah, it's obvious this was only done to boot Snyder and B. out the door. Classic Sloan!

    Strange trade though.

is it just me..or is jerry west trying to tear up the team..hes pretty much getting rif of everyone..or trying to get something in return for anyone..even though he's not getting much in return...by all means i dont mind since they are in our divisino..and we will have absolutely no problem against theses guys..

but i agree with others..wen i say that sact got the better end of this deal..they are definately a better team..because they are used to not playing with bobby jackson and ostertag..so adding wells to the mix can only make them better for that dead weight....are they now better then the rox?? healll no...hehe...this trade pretty much gurantees the rox to be better then the 3 teams in the west that are involved in this trade...just my 2 cents

You've got Stromile Swift playing small forward? He's a power forward/center. I know he has the build and athleticism to play the 3, but he doesn't have the game for it. His game is built for the 4/5. Our starting small forward is still Tracy McGrady and, as the situation stands currently, even with Williams added to the roster our starting shooting guard would be Wesley or Sura. Barring an additional trade/acquisition.

What is Utah thinking? I think there has to be a pick included somewhere here along with GO that wasn't announced. If there wasn't, Utah gave up a lot for an old, out of shape, backup center. Didn't Sloan just trade Arroyo and replace him with Snyder last year, Lopez is a servicable PG when healthy and CB is a young, hustle player on a rookie contract.

Utah does need depth at the 5 but to take back Ostertag for 3 rookie contracts makes me wonder.

This is a salary dump for Utah. Snyder was as deep in Sloan's dog house as anyone every has. He was a negative on the team. Brochart was a waste. He was useless. And Raul Lopez is going back to Europe. He has had an injury riddled career. This move was all about Utah getting Tag's expiring contract and dumping salary.
