Ummm... no. Head will get most of the time like in the Kings game (he played 30 minutes). Snyder is still sucking.

I feel bad for him. He always seemed like a nice guy to me.

I know we like to make fun of him because he is fat, but I think we assume WAY too much about his intentions. We really have no idea what he is going through personally.

    ALL POSSIBLE OPTIONS ARE

    1. Bonzi playing hide and seek with Gundy to make us remember him again
    2. After playing the kings, bonzi thought about those 36Millions he lost and puked to death.
    3. Artest used a sledgehammer and nailed Bonzi in a donut shop.
    4. Bonzi saw a hot stripper and lost his mind.
    5. Bonzi got his ass kicked by Chuck Norris and lost his soul.
    6. The Rockets Organization had this plan to fake this news and make us believe Bonzi is dead after they failed to buyout Bonzi.
    7. Deke elbowed Bonzi accidentally in practice and Bonzi took it too hard.
    8. Keith Jones hates bonzi and gave him too much diet pills resulted in a slim Bonzi with a naughty mind.
    9. Bonzi got abducted by Aliens
    10. Bonzi is posting this thread at home eating crackers with cheesypoofs

Bonzi misses the club scene too much.

Again, his lack of conditioning is attributed to his groin injury. You can't exactly do much to improve your conditioning with that kind of injury.

Jokes aside, I'd be concerned about Bonzi's mental state. Probably clinically depressed to do something like this. Hope he works things out - for all else, he was never classless or nasty this year.

The injury I'm referring to is the one he had before we even signed him. He was dealing with the groin injury all summer. That was step 1 to disaster.

novak and head don't even play the same position... we're gonna need a 3pt shooter since we know rafer won't provide that... and since bonzi and his post up game are out, why not add another deep threat?

especially if yao is going to be triple teamed.

Because Novak can't do the other things well enough to play on a JVG team. I thought everybody knew this by now. He can shoot threes. That is all. Defense sucks, rebounding sucks, etc.

eh? He clearly stated that he was worried about his safety.

    This is clearly on Bonzi.

He has been campaigning for more playing time all year, even said recently how he never has had a chance to play with both Yao and TMac to showcase what he can do and, after all of that, not only does he pull himself out of the game he gets to do just that but basically quits on the team afterwards.

Anyone blaming JVG for anything to do with Bonzi - get real.

All JVG has asked of him is to do the things that he asks of the rest of the team, including his two best players - be professional, be in shape, be prepared and be a team player. Bonzi has been a primadona all season and the latest incident has proven everything he has said this season has been just that - talk.

And, if any player can't handle having to actually EARN playing time then they are mentally weak and they can go play in the CBA the rest of their career.

Bonzi realized how bad he is and called it quits - it's what quiters do.

then trade him to phoenix. apparently shooting threes really well on a team that (save for head/battier) lacks anyone shooting above 36% isn't important.

Are you serious? What about the points he'll give up playing defense? Please, for my own entertainment, make a "PLAY NOVAK!" thread and lets see how everyone responds.

Bonzi needs to be let out of his Rocket contract for next year, so he can go on and play for another coach. The JVG-Bonzi interaction has eliminated his trade value.

JVG has has good points, but he is the worng guy to work with a head case.

JVG for instance could never have coached Jordan, Pippen and MR. HEADCASE RODMAN to the titles. Rodman would have pulled a Bonzi on JVG and he could not even have been traded for the last second round choice three years down the road. Subtracting Rodman without getting anything in return would have cost the Bulls a couple of titles, Jordan or no Jordan.

JVG would have cut Vernon Maxwell in our first title run or caused him to go Bonzi before Sam was ready to step in.

and the body count of players who arent "mentally tough" enough for JVG's doghouse piles up. I wonder why we signed Bonzi in the first place. Here's hoping TMAC can rip a new one in the playoffs and we regret this.
