ot only is this a lie, there are many others supporting bonds, you're clearly trying to single out black posters.

and the worst part is you're a punk who just won't come out and say it.

ummm..except if you start stripping Bonds of records, guess who the new single season HR leader is? oh, and if you strip Mark of the record, Sammy's right behind him smiling. feel comfortable with ANY of those guys? i don't. but i'm also not willing to create the circus of stripping everyone in this generation of any records they broke absent a positive steroid test.

It's Bonds fault that he gets as much negative press as he does. His whole career hes acted like an idiot to the media. Besides that, no one has changed as much as him physically as his body has. On top of that hes peaking in his 40's which is unheard of. Mcguire has always been a big dude, hes came out and said he took andro, but hes not playing anymore so who knows how that might shake out. Bonds is in the game, still breaking records, thats why he gets all the media attention. Most of it bad, because like I said, hes acted like an idiot to the media, which are only going to portray him as a wrong do-er.

Even though lots feel he might of cheated, it wasnt against the rules. Thats because the MLB are idiots and didnt have a drug testing policy. Doesn't mean others can't have an opinion and believe he did something. It's just something that's always going to hang over Bond's career, the Bonds apologists need to just deal with it.

I think this is something that everyone agrees on -- Bonds is an ass.

This is nonsense -- McGuire was much skinner at the start of his career than at the finish. Let me just say there are many weightlifters in my gym (all natural no roids) that are in their 40s and 50s who are totally ripped. Saying Bonds is still juicing while under incredible scrutiny that his is right now is ridiculous. Bonds is just as cut and muscular as the record setting year and he is being tested regularly for steroids. I submit Raphael Palmero as exhibit A that the new testing policy works.
    ________

At any rate cheating is cheating ~ if you're going to nail Bonds you've got to nail them all.

Why? If you have two burglars, and you catch one but not the other, do you let the first go simply because you couldn't get them all?

If you CAN nail them all, great. If you can't, you get the ones you can get evidence on.

I don't think anyone in their right mind thinks he's using them now...hes stopped using them for awhile. But I believe he was using them at some point. Of course he's stopped by now, he would be an idiot if he wasn't off them by now.

McGuire has said he used andro...that will change his appearance, like I said, who knows what will happen with him. I'm sure if he was still playing and going to break records, most would look at him as well. Bonds is making history all while he should be declining. People in your gym that are 40 and 50 that are ripped are like that because thats all they do is lift. There at the gym prob 5 times a week, Bonds is playing a professional sport, that will wear and tear you down. I'll always believe he used roids, just what I personally think. Even if he's never caught and his career is long done, when they talk about Bonds and his records, I'll always think cheater. It's something hes going to have to live with....all there is to it.

Where is the direct evidence on Bonds? The man said to have supplied Bonds has stated he did not give Bonds any steroids. Again - hearsay and conjecture from beat writers and mistress' won't cut it. I'm not saying Bonds is innocent I think he probably used them in the past, but unless he comes out and says, "Yes I did them" there is really no use in continuing to harass him all the time. I don't think Bonds is using now and he remains as cut as ever. This does open a sliver of possibility that he may have always been clean. Arguments comparing his past and present musculature as proof of drug use are nonsense.

That being said... Bonds has brought much of this on himself by being a complete ass to the media and in some regards the fans of MLB.

I would love to put an * by McGwire's records. I was rooting against him in 1998.

The Andro was legal but the steroids he obviously used were not.

So the only way you believe people did something wrong is if they admit to it? I assume this means you've never made a judgement about anyone without a confession?

Fortunately, I'm not trying him in a court of law, so circumstantial evidence like documents and calendars and cheesy denials are plenty for me. You can choose to believe that Bonds got "flaxseed oil" that looks, feels, and sounds exactly like a unique steroid from the one place that created this unique steroid and happened to have calendars and various other documents implicating Bonds. For me, that all is more than enough for me to believe he used steroids.

And no, that stuff is not just hearsay. It's documented to the extent that the government is doing a perjury investigation on Bonds. If Bonds didn't actually say the things in the book, the government wouldn't be doing a perjury investigation based on that information.

Fortunate for you or anyone else because you would be laughed out of the courtroom.

I think he probably used them for a while like many MLB players ~ those who say they are 100% sure of his guilt because of the way he looks or what his mistress said are full of bull.

If he is still using them he will be caught like Palmero ~ as of 5/29/06 he hasn't been caught.

This all boils down to Bonds abrasive personality. Lance Armstrong a hero in the US by all accounts is an ass in Europe [hell he can be an ass in Austin too] hence the Euro media scrutiny and drug allegations. If Bonds were a good guy like McGuire or Sosa [Sammy the corked bat cheater] he wouldn't be dealing with all the hate.
