Actually yes....kinda sorta. I'm not saying I want to write off records. What's done is done in that sense. However, I don't think it's that off the wall for someone to not "fully respect" someone's numbers when it's obviously clear that there was an entire group of good players that couldn't play against them...that kicked their butts on the reg when they were allowed to play (according to baseball historians....I am not a baseball fan). No one can say that Ruth competed against the best players of his time. That goes for any player that played prior to integration. It's that simple.... And Bonds hasn't been found guilty of anythign yet...so get off his nut-sack. Flame him when he gets convicted.

Wrong. Bonds admitted to using The Clear and cream. Then qualified it by saying it didn't know what they were. Next time do a little research.
Wrong. Bonds admitted to using flaxseed oil... which the investigators were calling the "Cream" and the "Clear". In response, Bonds basically said "well if they were, i didn't know." Nothing has been proven. And, he certainly didn't admit to anything. Quit hating.

This is disgusting. Bonds is a disgrace to the game. It's pretty telling that his only supporters around here are Icehouse, Rocket River and edwardc. hmmm.....
Where is the outcry about McGuire? He admitted to using andro and Canseco said he shot Mark up with the strongest stuff out at the time. So much credit is given to the statements from Bonds mistress [and other unreliable sources] on his steroid use -- at least as much weight should be given to McGuire former teamate Canseco. If you want to put a asterick by Bonds you have to put one by McGuire [and several other untouchable heros (Sosa)] as well.
You're never going to be able to convince some people. You could have video footage of Bonds injecting himself with a needle and they would say it was a B-vitamin shot.
Out of the game and not playing anymore. If we were to see McGuire still playing and breaking records people would be all over him.
Pete Rose is out of the game and is still barred from the Hall ~ maybe the McGuire et al should suffer the same fate. Everyone is focused on Bonds, but there are many other cheaters out there that aren't feeling the wrath of the media etc.
And thats why Im not hard on Bonds, I think he is getting a lot more crap than he should...regardless of how you cut it, he is one of the greatest hitters to play the game. People need to learn to chill a little bit...why boo the guy? You're supposed to boo players like Beltran, the ones who F you over.
