The NFL likes him though........ Lets face it Bon Jovi gives rock music a bad name...................bad name...........
Bon Jovi's music is bad enough, but hearing him spout off about political issues would make me crazy enough to want to hear George W. Bush sing!
Valid point. They did put on an amazing set. However Ministry stole that show hands down. The Peppers seemed so weak after that.
Will have to take your word for it. My head was next to the main left speaker column from Lush through Soundgarden. I was completely heat exhausted and deaf by the time Ministry went on.
I don't know, it depends on how well they get their point accross. I guess it sucked for you and everybody since Bon Jovi doesn't have any political songs, so it was out of place at his concert. You go see U2, it should be expected that Bono is gonna talk about peace, but he incorporates it into the show. Also, they had an anti gun video during their last tour. Pretty well done, it was played before Bullet the Blue Sky, which used to be an anti US foreign policy song. Another reason I don't mind political speak is because it usually comes from good artists who have the intelligence to talk about this stuff and make good music. Bon Jovi doing it doesn't seem much different from Britany Spears trying to give her 2 cents, they don't have cred with me because of their music. Bob Dylan can talk to me, Paul McCartney can talk to me, Bono can talk to me, uh, Tom Morrello might be too communist to speak to me.
