No, wrong - I just posted on this the other day.

Spanoulis has played most of his minutes with either Yao or , and frequently with Head (the best outside shooter on the team) playing next to him. A small fraction (15% or so) has come on the absolute B-Team with Padgett, etc.

You forget - he was the first guard off the bench for a few weeks there in November and December. He was, on the whole, rather mediocre. Certainly far more mediocre than Tony Parker or Manu Ginobili - which is not surprising as they are better players, then and now.

    1-6 his last game.

Again living in your fantasy world. Did you see the turnovers VSpan was making in the last game? Was his scrub teammate sitting in the stands? Snyder damn-near needed a shovel or back hoe to dig up another one of the turnovers. Many of his turnovers are just dumb passes. Forget his assists, let's start with trying to get the basketball to a teammate first instead of someone sitting in the crowd.

And now analyze the competition VSpan plays against vs. the competition Rafer plays against. After all, that does make a difference according to your "but, but, but... his assists would be higher" argument. Or does that argument only work in your favor? lol.

Certainly that would have to be factored in as well.

That was ONE pass....ONE !!! He had 3 turnovers, one was a tipped ball that should not have been a turnover, one was a trap by the Spurs....good defense and V-SPan should have seen it coming...and one was an airmail into the 3rd row...which Luther does EVERY SINGLE GAME !!

Since you want to talk about one pass, did you see the sweet dish to Jake under the basket that drew a foul and free throws for Jake?

Yep, not his best but he still managed to get to the line and contribute...

exactly. its that simple, v-span even said so himself, its not his game. and with yao out, its even worse on him.

And how should it be factored in since you obviously/conveniently don't factor it in when you make these "percentage shooting" comparisons or Luther's "one wild turnover a game" references. So go ahead and factor it in for us... because if VSpan is as good as you say, I would think his shooting would be a lot better against scrubs than against first teamers.

Yeah, we've seen the results of his past foray into excercising his instincts. He clings onto Boki like his blanket... nevermind the rest of his dud instinctual picks. :D

Yeah, my instincts on players like:

    Yao Ming
    Shane Battier
    Carlos Boozer
    Boki
    V-Span
    Manu Ginobli
    Kevin Durant

And many others.....players that I thought would be good coming into the NBA. There are a few clunkers like Dan Langhi, but overall I feel pretty good about my track record.

man you're really going out on a limb on that Kevin Durant opinion, I don't think anyone else has the guts to make that prediction. :D

LOL, Dadakota is talking about his fabled track record again.

    Get over yourself, super scout.

Your track record consists of you throwing spaghetti against the wall. Some of it sticks and some of it doesn't, but there's no science to it.

I prefer my spaghetti throwing to have some sound scientific basis.

Science? We are talking about opinion here. I am basing my opinion on what I see on the court.....which is more than about the numbers.

But at the end of the day, it is just an opinion.

    DD - Super scout !!!

    PS....Don't forget Vince Young....whom I also predicted would be great....SCHWING !!!
